I can’t believe I’m recommending something with the Rubiks brand name on it, but if you really want a nice Bluetooth cube this is it. I have a Rubiks brand speed cube and that is in my opinion a stretch to even call it a speed cube. I was thinking about buying a go cube for months but I never liked the pillowed design. I bought this one and I can’t believe how nice this is.

I think fluently/fluidly are interchangeable when you speak about movement but English is not my native language. Sounds like I would enjoy this cube, I just wish there was a stickerless option.

We got two of them in the mail this week. The app is very refined and we haven't seen any issues. Network battles are a lot of fun. Cousin is using beginner tutorials and solved 3x3 first time Monday. I might also resticker.

So is it better than the Giiker I3S or GAN 356 i V2? If it is, I'm glad to see that Rubik's has reached the level of the other good cube producers. I just got the one that doesn't turn good at all, with plastic tiles instead of stickers. I baught it because of the tiles, and their pleasant colors. I don't regret to but it but I don't play with it often either. It'more like a decorative piece 😜😁 By the way, you are doing lately pretty nice and qualitatively good videos! Keep it up! 👍👌

I bought a rubiks cube had to wait ages for it to ship as stock was out, it's finally on it's way. I always wanted to try gocube but I wasn't going to get a pillowed cube. I have the Gan i2 I turns about 10% better, much less catchy. Plastic tiles feel nicer. Best part is I can leave it for a week and pick it up and it's still mostly charged and not dead. Main reason I didn't use the old one was everytime I felt like using it there was a 3hr charge wait by which time I no longer felt like using it. I believe the new one charges faster too. I do wish they made a rubiks cube with orientation sensors and indicator lights as these features are benefitial I find I love how the gan i2 has a charge indicator now. I can't wait to compare the 2 because there's still a lot of room for improvement. Edit: use the old GAN app not the new one, the new one is an unusable power virus or as good as, drains your phone battery faster than your cube.

I just got mine in yesturday and overall am really happy with it. Waiting for cubeast to be compatible with it as well. I did find that I am slightly slower solving on it than I am on my GAN 356 M but I love all the stats telling me how slow I am ;) As always, thanks for the awesome content.

Welp. I had one of these, it was my favourite cube. But the yellow side popped out completely, the wire broke and now it dosent even work as a normal cube.

On the other hand, online competitions seem to be a growing feature. The app for the 356i even has virtual rooms you can create to do group competitions with a best of 5 (I think). I am not sure because I have never been able to join a room -- perhaps there just aren't enough users. On the GoCube and Connected it seems like most of the time I am playing against bots. That is my biggest issue with the various smart cubes -- finding opponents. I've tried all of them, Giiker, 356i, GoCube, and Connected. I have high hopes that Cubeast will develop a competitions feature that will bring everyone together regardless of smartcube brand. I already prefer Cubeast to all of the other apps for solo practice.

Magnetic strength was too strong for me, just finished changing the magnets in the edges to n35 4x2mm, now the cube is way smoother, and more to my liking.

The 356i app has connection issues, seems to always want to do an update from slow servers in China (slow from the US anyway), and the competitions never have matches since they updated the app. However, for solo mode I am really liking Cubeast, which I found after you mentioned it in this review. Have you had any connection issues with Cubeast and the 356i? I just got the Connected but can still return it, which I might do since I have two 356i cubes (because of the crappy battery).
