I'm an incredibly inconsistent cuber. PB: 9.40 but average can be from 15 to 19. I blame this on my shitty F2L and cross skills. I'm not part of a cubing community or anything. I never go to competitions or anything like that. My friends have 0% interest in it. So I never have a chance to learn new techniques from other people, in person. This channel is so amazing. I would still be at 2 minute solves if it wasn't for JPerm constantly expanding my mind and giving me new ways to think about things. Thanks buddy.

When you released the keyhole multislot video, I was amazed at the concept of it. Me being me, I disregarded the fact that I’m practicing F2L muscle memory and decided to dedicate my time into learning keyhole. It was pretty simple and I found it fun as well. Now, in this video, you said that the multislotting thing was an advanced technique and that you shouldn’t spend time if you’re not sub 15 or sub 10 yet. Well... I sorta do it and I’m only averaging sub 30. :P I literally thought to myself “Wait... He said this is advanced... I need to get my priorities right...”

The way you show to flip an edge is also fine as a flipping alg for big cubes - Chris Olson recommends using it over the standard one - I'm not sure I see why either one would be best, either for 3x3 vs. big cubes or even overall.
@JPerm5 жыл бұрын
The left handed move makes it a little harder on larger cubes. The big cube flip R U R' F R' F' R has more regrips but in my opinion is more consistent to do.

That’s actually how I learned F2L! It took me awhile to figure out an overly complex method to solve the last slot. I’d solve three corners, three edges, insert the last corner in any orientation, put the edge over the correct centre, do sexy move twice to solve the edge, do a z rotation, and orient the corner with sexy move.
