Sherin-This is much needed & I promise this video will get definitely a huge view,the highest you ever got . Nothing like making your own wine correctly . Thanks for this lovely video process with perfect measurements. Last question,What would be the alcohol volume -if it’s between 12-14.5 then you have nailed it. Love your work Sherin.🙏

Thank you so much Mr. Pais for the wonderful comment! I really hope this video reaches as many viewers as possible. Regarding the alcohol content, I haven't measured it yet as I don't have a wine hydrometer. Need to purchase one. So far I have been a bit old school, ie I make the wine but don't measure. Will do so in my upcoming videos, infact, if possible, will measure this one too and update you with the results

The yeast is used to kick start fermentation. Wine is technically made from fermented fruit/grain where sugars are converted into acids, gases or alcohol

Yeast is essential for fermentation. There may be other techniques but I haven’t heard of them..

Jaggery may lend a strong taste and mask the flavour of the java plums. Secondly, without adding water you wont get the desired volume of wine right? It will be more like macerated fruit

Sorry to hear that. Please ensure that there is absolutely no moisture in the utensils used to prepare and jars/bottles used to store the wine. If you follow this precaution your wine should turn out good

Do you mean spoilt? If you did not use proper precaution it does become sour. You cannot do anything now, sorry. Perhaps can use it for cooking
