Kerala fish curry or Meen curry is quite famous for its perfect balance of spicy and sour flavours. Here you can try a Restaurant Style Fish Curry .This special Fish curry is a must try recipe. You can serve this meen curry with hot rice, Chapathi, Appam etc.
INGREDIENTS

Fish - (മീൻ ) 500 gm
Coconut oil ( വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ ) - 2 Tbsp + 1.5 Tbsp + 1 Tbsp
Garlic ( വെളുത്തുള്ളി ) - 3 Cloves
Ginger ( ഇഞ്ചി ) - 1/2 INCH
Red chilli powder ( മുളക് പൊടി ) - 1 Tbsp
Kashmiri chilli powder ( കാശ്മീരി മുളക് പൊടി ) - 1 tsp
Coriander powder ( മല്ലിപ്പൊടി ) - 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder ( മഞ്ഞൾപ്പൊടി ) - 1/4 tsp
Salt ( ഉപ്പ് ) - as needed
Shallots ( ചെറിയ ഉള്ളി ) -3 Nos
Grated coconut (തേങ്ങ ചിരകിയത് ) - 3/4 cup
Mustard seeds ( കടുക് ) - 1/4 tsp
Fenugreek seeds ( ഉലുവ ) - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves ( കറിവേപ്പില ) - 1 +1 sprigs
Green chilli ( പച്ചമുളക് ) - 2 Nos
Tomato ( തക്കാളി ) - 1 (M)
Tamarind (വാളൻ പുളി ) - gooseberry ( നെല്ലിക്ക ) size
Hot water (ചൂട്‌ വെള്ളം ) - 1/4 cup
Water ( വെള്ളം ) -1/4 Cup + 1/4 cup + 1 Cup
