I would like to know what Rudy does in his spare time. Not much I can give advice on but I did see one tip for you. When cutting rubber most of the cutting force is actually friction. Just wetting the blade (spit will work) will greatly reduce the effort. And of course laying down a trail of dawn on the cut line will work great.

Helpful hint... when cutting rubber mats.... spray your razor or knife with a spray lubricant such as wd 40 or jb 80 or aero kroil or something. Makes cutting nearly effortless.
@maxironpaw Жыл бұрын
Hey Rudy - A few suggestions for next time: (1) When painting a large horizontal surface like that trailer deck, just pour paint right from the can onto the surface and use a roller on a broomstick to swab it around. Much faster than spraying but spray the details and nooks and crannies (tow rings, etc.). (2) When cutting horse mat lay a piece of pipe or tube under the cut. That puts the material in tension at the cut and it will cut a lot easier. (3) Drill or burn some drain holes in the gas tank tray for drainage. Good luck at KOH!
@cameronskaggs4188 Жыл бұрын
