oh, how i miss season 1 of gossip girl... seasons 1 and 2 were the best, seasons 3 and the first half of four were okay, the second half of four was just weird and season 5 is almost unwatchable

During other episodes they mention Rufus writing multiple songs about Lily and that she was aware of them, but I just wonder if Lily was still dating him when he came up with Rosewood or she was just finding out that he wrote yet another song about her.

This is just my theory: Lily and Rufus met and started dating when she got pregnant with Rufus' son, she took off which allowed Allison to come in and heal his broken heart. When Lily came back from having the child, she probably tried to stay away from Rufus. Eventually they bumped into each other again and started seeing each other while Allison was still in the picture or he told Allison about the girl who broke his heart . The relationship finally came to an end, when Lily chose Keith
