Are there points gained for clubs producing their own juniors who make it to the Senior team? Penrith have a production line of kids coming on to replace the ones they inevitably lose, and have won 4 premierships in a row while establishing a great following in their catchment. NQ cowboys also enjoy massive local support because their Juniors are peppered thought the team. Fans feel like its a club that represents them. Most NRL teams are like this..inevetably leads to huge TV ratings.

I bet my home town club (Oldham) are pleased in having seen their score dip slightly from last season. Automatic promotion to the Championship, crowds more than doubling and movement from a run down stadium to a ten year lease at Boundary Park.

Totally agree that if the NRL goes to 20 teams, they will limit their fixtures to 19/20, so Super League should follow suit so we get a WCC after both Grand Finals.

Yes, and it also means a team winning the Championship grand final could be denied access to the Super League... as a Widnes Vikings fan, supporting a team in the playoffs - they have a lower grading than Barrow Raiders; a club whose fan base is less than the Vikings, who were fighting relegation... go figure.
