Same thing happened to me. Diagnosed last year at age 46. Turned my life upside-down.

Was perfectly healthy my entire life, never got sick, never had to stay in the hospital, super healthy. All of a sudden at 28 I’m in the hospital in DKA. Got diabetes at 28. Crazy but I keep my head up and live my life as best as I can.
