I'm a little late on this one but iv been thinking about picking one of these up for my dad he owes the 22 model of this. If I pick one up I'll mod it and let you no what I did to it but yes it will have to do with the springs .👍👌✌️🎯💯🥂

I have the Buckmark URX and it had a very heavy trigger....I followed a you-tube tutorial and worked over the sear (you have to remove the top of the gun and do some judicious sanding with a small Dremel)....Now the trigger is very smooth and light.....Be careful, it's better to take off too little than too much, as you can't go back and I don't know if the same 'fix' can be applied to the Ruger......Have you tried a Daisy 747 ?...................John (west coast, Can.)

Just did a similar test with mine the optimum weight seems to be around 5gr. Gamo Redfire was the most accurate in my little adventure.the heavy projectiles had about a 4 inch lower POI at 17 ft and the groups were about 1/2 larger with Crossma Premier hollow points

I have been doing some more shooting with my Mark IV and the trigger has lightened up a bit, but it’s still terrible. A major problem in my opinion. I noticed after trying different pellets in mine that Crosman premier pointed pellets work best. They work best because they fit loose when inserting them into the barrel. I have found that when shooting pellets that fit tight in the barrel I get major velocity loss and huge pellet drop. I shoot at around 8 yards and if a pellet fits tight when inserting in the barrel I can see up to a full 12” drop at 8 yards which is a major issue and extremely inaccurate. When I shoot a pellet that just drops in or fits loosely the gun shoots exactly in line with the sights and is actually very accurate. Any sort of tight fit on the pellet and they start dropping significantly.

This means it will prefer Crosman 7.4's or light Jsb pellets (Rs 7.33'$ ?)! Wich has softer lead...

I am still considering this one while it is BO! The FPS and trigger are the only reasons im not sure to get it. But the price and look are keeping me interested! BUT I am bad at shooting pistols 😁 Glad to see it in action!

I haven’t given up on the trigger yet!

Pull the trigger...... bang ...... and get one. For the price it is well worth the e$fort to fix the teigger. Polish the trigger bar and seer and replace the seer spring with a slightly weaker one.

Seems to have a good set of sights but the trigger is a problem. Would be nice to find a lighter spring. Good grouping with the wadcutters. Curious about the Browning also. Reviews on both seem good.
@WalnutandSteel2 жыл бұрын
Ups was supposed to deliver the browning yesterday but I got a notice that it was delayed due to inclimate weather, wimps! I am going to take the spring out and take it to the hardware store and see if I can find a lighter replacement

@@WalnutandSteel I have an Umarex Brodax Revolver coming next week. I hope. The Dust Devil BBs I had ordered evidently got lost so I cancelled those thru Amazon. Lol. Got them to Bristol VA. just 17 miles away & lost them or damaged the box. Reorder thru somebody else I guess. 👍

What better to buy Crosman 1377 or Umarex Ruger Mark 4? Thanks

They are both fun but if I had to pick one it would be the 1377.

I tried my best to like it but that didn't work. Mine had a serious Barrel droop and when you closed it after cocking it, it didn't close very tightly and I was afraid it could pop open when I shoot it so unfortunately it is no longer with us. However I did buy the buckmark the same day and I like that very much I wish I had the sites on the buck mark from the Ruger. Do you have Barrel droop on yours or is mine just a lemon.

Even though it is a pellet gun does it shoot bbs?
@WalnutandSteel2 жыл бұрын
I would never shoot a steel bb from a rifled barrel. Would damage the rifling quickly

Ok

So it wouldn’t work anymore?

It can damage the rifling so it would not be accurate anymore
