I thought that was annoying too at first with the mag rattling around in the stock. The grooves hold it in place though if you line the bottom of the mag up with the grooves as you put it in then clamp the top down

Congrats on the new gun, I think you’ll enjoy it. The bag is similar to the Ruger Discreet Carry Backpack, but an older version. I’m not sure which one, and I threw all the tags away. It was a gift and it works, so that’s why I use that one. I don’t know that I’d buy the one I have if I were to buy one today, especially with the backpacker stock. It just makes it so much more compact and easy to carry in a variety of packs.

Take a look at Innovation Armoury. They make CZ mag well adapters. The one I ordered works great.

Those are some neato accessories, but personally as far as appearance, I think it looks great as it was. The factory mags load quite easily. My Glock mags need the mag loader.

Thanks for the comment. I know it was just my personal tastes, which doesn’t mean much in the end. I do like the compact and cohesive nature of the new stock though. Even if not for looks, functionality to carry in a backpack is so much better and it weighs less. I don’t modify my guns generally, but this was a good move for me, looks aside. I sold all my Glock mags long ago, now I wish I still had them. It’s a fun gun. How long have you had yours?

For me, just fine. I think the old stock is definitely more ergonomic though. I think the improvement is weight reduction and compactness.

It did limit the weight considerably. I think the old stock had a better grip, but not drastically. I am so glad I made the change. Thanks for watching!

The PC4? I don’t know? But on the basic PC Carbine from 2017 to today, yes.

Looks nice, I think a little red dot would really help and don’t poo poo 9mm until you shoot one of the top 5 HP’s through it! 🤪 🍄

Don’t tell anyone, but 9mm is my primary go to caliber. It does cycle LEO HP rounds very well. I may do a 9mm sucks video just to get some good responses. If I get a red dot, that’s the gun it’s going on. 9️⃣🔫 🔴. I do like that little gun though, it’s fun and the girls can shoot it comfortably.

I have a 9 mm RUGER PC chassis carbine. It's STILL ugly but with almost ALL the upgrades available internally and most externally it is utterly reliable. but yeah, the MAGPUL polymer stock is a vast improvement on the factory plastic stock.

Id love to upgrade the internals, some day soon hopefully. These are really fun to shoot.

What upgrades did you do to yours? Mine was reliable out of the box but I still put a bunch of Mcarbo parts into it. The Mcarbo extractor claw keeps chipping off the extra mass leaving it as essentially the same size or smaller then the oem extractor claw. I’ve had two replaced now and they both chip in the first range chip. No malfunctions or any extraction problems but it just bothers me that they break so easily and they are supposed to be upgrades. I already have all of the tandemkross upgrades on hand and am going to install them this weekend and try them out. So far the gun bone stock ran fine for about 1,200 rounds. It continued to run fine for an additional 750 rounds with all of the Mcarbo upgrades. If you’re interested I’ll report back my experience with the tandmkross upgrades.

Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder👀 for sure. There are trade offs with both stocks. But my favorite part as I’ve used it over the last while is the way the stock and barrel connect when the barrel is not engaged in the action. The original is much more ergonomic and substantial though. 🇺🇸👍
