I had a bug with my gas regulator on my 16" SFAR. New parts from Riger seemed to fix it. Ruger was phenomenal at standing behind their product. I need more rounds to know for sure but im starting to trust & love this rifle. Keep the vids comimg! 👍👍👍

Good stuff. Looking forward to future vids you mentioned. Very pleased with 16" SFAR. But I haven't taken mine off of setting 3 yet @ just under 300 rounds. I am very interested to see how yours performs on setting #2 unsuppressed. Thank you for your service.

Sadly I’ve seen a lot of these problems with the SFAR so I went with an Aero build today actually. SFAR really is a beautiful gun so I’m sad I couldn’t trust the quality control enough. Ruger seems to be taking care of their customers but I didn’t want to deal with the trouble :/

Thanks for the input. Hoping the 6.5 has bugs worked out. So far so good. Working on part 4 now. I've had man rugers with few problems. On real problem was 22 precision rifle not extracting because chamber too tight and the rebarreled it for me and covered all shipping!

Would you say that this would be a suitable rifle for deer and elk hunting?

for deer - 1000% yes. that's what i use in bolt gun (PA does not allow ARs sadly). every deer drops w/o motion w/ winchester deer season XPs 125gr. for elk - i personally would go bigger but MANY hunters do successfully take elk w/ 6.5cm. i like the backfire channel regarding elk hunting. he is a very smart dude and would recommend 7mm prc #1, but 300 win mag, 7mm rem mag, 30-06 are great too. thank you so much for commenting and watching. would LOVE a subscribe!!!!

Check the gas block, thats about the only issue ive heard of with that rifle.
