I have been carrying the 108 for a couple of weeks, smooth in pocket, easy to carry, mostly hidden blade when closed, and over travel/locking mechanism. I've been pleased with it. Also picked up the Fang and the Hussar in g10 scales, both have good action. Great video on an under recognized brand, thanks!

I bought the P105Q a while back, and it's an awful lot of knife for $40. These are now carried on BladeHQ, there are also some very good sellers on eBay. Their new P128 looks almost Kershaw like, I might grab that one next.

Haha funny you put that special edition black and blue Thor in the picture. I'm holding a Ruike P-105Q, and it's like it's those two knives smashed together. Pocket clip still has that nice blue anodised ball thing. Goes together wonderfully wotht he black and blue g10, it flips like a dream, and the blade's freefalling. On plastic washers? I dunno, but it's buttersmooth!

Rscmgw23 It's a good little knife. Flips out crisply, came sharp, nice weight. It's just a little small for my liking. But for the price and as an every day carry I'd recommend it.

Ha...just a little tip on paper cutting. Copier paper like that has a grain to it so it cuts better with the grain. In this case it cuts better on the long side of the paper.

@@msharmall7298 they all should be flat grind, No? They got that Sandvik steel... just ordered mine yesterday and I’m excited as it will be the best steel I own for my knife collection. My Civivi Elementum in D2 and Kershaw Cryo in 8crmov13 would be my closest in quality IMO but I’m new to knife world. I’m only into budget flippers as of right now. Love the wharcliffe style blades as they are so easy to sharpen

@@greg6162 I'm not sure about the grind on the other one, the P801 is the one I got. It's a nice steel and a near perfect knife, as long as you don't get a lemon (doesn't seem to happen with Ruike much anyways). Hopefully you won't have as bad luck as I have in knife collecting. It seems like half the knives I buy are lemons. This steel will sharpen super super easy, but doesn't hold an edge as long as D2 usually does. The grind on the P801 is super slicey and a joy to work with, I imagine it's the same for the other model. Be aware though, the thumb studs on the P801, and other Ruike models, are near impossible to use. So.. If you planned on using them, don't.

2 really attractive knives but its cold here a lot of the year and metal scales can be unwise although a composite handle like g10 or even grn of the same style and a liner on only 1 side with the lock would make it ultralight and easy on the hands nevertheless a nice start for Fenix - thanks for the review

The F9Q is the Serial Number of the knife. The triangle and numbers are the Degrees of the grind.

just bought the p801sf, very poor quality factory control on mine. grind damage to the scale and ano missing and wrong colour. flips great. costs to much to send back to the knifecenter usa from the uk so stuck with a lemon. your reviews are always great by the way

Can anyone give my any input on how the detent on these Ruike knives compares to that on the Real Steel knives and/or Kizers? The Real Steel flippers have a bit of a weak detent for my tastes. Hoping these Ruikes are better.

I have a Benchmade Morpho I'll send you to review if you'd like. I only use it to play with around the house. It's new even though I've had it for 2 years.
