I like how Slime Rancher's story is very much like Dan's more emotional series, but the gameplay is like his unhinged series. For those who don't know, that person in the credits was the protag's romantic partner, who is in a long distance relationship with her. The emails are basically a look into their life, and how while they are more drawn to city life and music, Bea is more about outdoor life and exploration. It's hard, but they'll make it work.

People go to the Far Far Range to run away from something. Victor couldn't emotionally connect with anyone, Ogdin was the CEO of a food company that made quick, unhealthy junk food that Ogdin hated, leaving the company to focus on making neutritious healthy food. Mochi Miles is the daughtor of a billionaire that sent her to the range to basically get rid of her.
