One thing that really helps understand why he's so chill is this: it literally does not matter what a human wants, as long as they want *anything at all.* As long as the desires keep flowing, the demon is getting what it wants, and ultimately also gaining strength. So, really, it just makes sense to be nice, helpful and entirely positive to the human that asks for stuff.

First time and I think last one. Lion doesn't really does anything to Laois, besides cursing him. Curse is sure really effective but... Lion doesn't do anything else. If it was a character with all of human desires , that would've been more devastating. But Lion accomplished revenge for exactly one thing and then fucked off confused on what to do next

This is absolutely amazing!! I love how when it shows the different dungeon lords the colors represent them and their reasons in some way. Thistle being in purple which is a royal color. Mithrun in green like envy. Marcielle in pink and red for love/passion. And Laios in yellow for creativity/optimism. Thistle made the deal for the sake of the kingdom, Mithrun out of jealousy and insecurity, Marcielles love for those around her and her fear of losing them, and Laios who keeps pushing through no mater what to get his sister and find his own belonging. Yellow also is considered a ‘Hungry’ color where seeing it leads you to being hungry. Overall beautifully done and wonderful song choice!

WOW!! This is phenomenal, I am blown away 💖💖 This song is a really inspired choice, it fits the Winged Lion's themes perfectly. My jaw dropped at "If you are the flower then I am the pavement, If you are the water then I want to taste it, If you are the lion then I am the hunger, If you are a human then I am desire" I love how you used that verse to demonstrate the Lion's relationships with each of the Dungeon Lords, and finally its confrontation with Laois. Your art is stunning as well, the colors are beautifully vibrant and the textured lines + shading adds a very nice touch. Loved the expressions too 💖Fantastic work :D

This is genuinely one of my favorite works of Dungeon Meshi fan content. All of the colors here are stunning especially in the sweeping backgrounds. The cut at "reach it" gave me shivers!!! And then the awesome comparison you made between an old group of victims and the Laios party both with golden Mcguffins, It's so great!!! And then the whole verse that goes through all the named victims of the demon!!!! It's so so so great!!! THIS IS SO AWESOME I mean, as a fan who read the manga before the anime even exist, I love seeing people who discover it with the anime and make content of it, and I always think of how I can't wait season 2 'cause the winged lion arc is so incredible and, if I dare to say, deliciously creepy (especially book 13, it turns out so horror-style, and even though I didn't expect it I love it!) and I can't wait to see content of it. AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHY, your animatic is so incredible, I love your drawing style, and the parallels, the colors, and just the way the song fit so much! The "I'm now aware of incompleteness" lyric fits the lion like a glove, almost as if it was made for him!
