Rule 60: Nouns that Take the Locative

I wonder if KZbin channels, Discord servers and other digital "places" would take the Locative case if Latin never "died".

From what I remember, the large islands are Sicily Sardinia Corsica Crete Euoba and I think Corfu too. I live in a small apartment building that looks i guess a lot like what an actual Roman apartment building would look like. I know they were also called “small islands”- insula. So they also take the dative then?

This is most confusing for me. How do we form the Locative case? Or is it by intuition only that it's a locative case? You've mentioned that it's has the same endings to this declension and that but it's vague.

I did not know that “Athens” was plural in English. Does that mean you would have to use a plural form of a verb with it? “Athens are a city in Greece“?

Well, maybe “plural” was a simplification of the fact that it has an -s on the end of it. I think we should still use singular verbs with it.
