​@@theokkali467 This is in fact false. 1962 was the 2nd edition of that single which was also the first version printed on LP records but the first version of the song was the radio one which was broadcasted during the end of the year 1961, it is because its been such a hit during the thanksgiving vacations amongst all the families that later they released a LP record in 1962 ! Source : my grandmother used to put this song about every week and tell us about it with my brother, may she rest peacefully up there, at the 1st floor of her house because the bedroom at main floor was getting too cold during winter.

I came from a family that wasn't very musical. It wasn't something I grew up with. I was 15 and a freshman in high school on the bus home from an away soccer game. I was a 9th grader on the JV team and a senior on varsity put Rump Hurtz on his boom box. "I Wiped My As With My Socks" starts and I'm blown away. After the song is over, I go to boom box guy and ask him, "Dude, what was that?". He looks at me with a weird expression on his face and says, "You don't know who Rump Hurtz is?". The rest, as they say, is history. Still my favorite artist to this day.

My father tells a story of when he was working a field with a tractor. He had eaten a bucket of half melted ice-cream for breakfast and got hit with the intense need to take a dump. So he does so behind the tractor - when he hears the unmistakable sound of a car driving up the nearby road. It was the farmers daughter (who was apparently pretty hot). So trying to act cool he intercepts her between the tractor and the road and starts up the smooth talkin'.
