Yeah i think so too. Unlike other artists from the bigger companies they have their sunbaenims(seniors) to promote and guide them, bts got no one 😔. The only hyung they have was Lee Hyun but he was in the military at that time.

"I Was Right, In The Rain-Leaking Studio In Nonhyeon-Dong" If i remember it correctly during or before BTS' debut, Suga's tiny studio got flooded with rainwater. And because the studio was tiny, many people couldn't fit into it so Suga himself had to move his equipment out. "The Reason Behind Bangtan's Success? I Don't Know If There's Something Like That All Of Us Just Run Hard No Matter What, We Just Run That's The Answer, Ha-Ha-Ha Some kpop companies created a whole task force somewhere around 2017-18 to study BTS, the fandom etc. to figure out 'the secret formula' for their success so they can use it to replicate BTS' global success. It's safe to say they didn't succeed at that since no other group is touching BTS' achievements. These companies would do everything but work hard as BTS did. Jhope also mentioned it in the song "ddaeng".

It was interesting when you said you are starting to like j-hope's style more and more. I often say that he's one of the most interesting artists working today because, while he has a very distinct brand, his signature is kind of "versatility." So everything you hear from him is different and it can be hard to get a concrete idea of. I think he's the least accessible rapper of the three but the most innovative. He's got so much range in his rap being able to do quick and tricky but also bringing a lot of energy to slow and chill. He is a singer too who has great belts and falsettos and a pretty, controlled vibrato and that skill allows him to seamlessly weave in melody to his rap. He also just has an interesting accent and tone which he can change up to do a lot of new kinds of things. And because of his dance background, his musicality and ear are next level so he always comes up with a delivery that is going to be unexpected and also catchy as hell. But really, the range you find in his work and in BTS' discography is so huge and varied, you really can't get a hang of his "style" until you listen to a lot of it. It makes him very exciting as an artist and I always look forward to his work because I know it's going to surprise and challenge me while also going hard as hell.

There’s no such thing as "safe songs". You can enjoy the lyrics and the melody of every song. You might not understand the references of the MV but it’s still beautiful. If you wanna check it out, go ahead 💜

Everybody has been falling for this song. I absolutely love it. I've been annoying my kids because I can't stop singing it. Lol. But, yeah, when it talks about not wanting to go home, that refers to their training days. When a trainee started falling behind, they would be sent home. There is actually a guy who trained with them and was cut who did a little documentary about how he just wishes he could still be together with them. It's on KZbin... you should watch it sometime. It's called "I trained with BTS". Basically, the song is about BTS always "running"... they've mostly never stopped since they started in their teens. Read the rest of the notes on the lyrics when you have a second. They clarify some of the other Korean phrases. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much a I did. It's a great song.

I thought Run BTS was a straightforward banger but when you read the lyrics, I realised there are two levels to the message. The line 'I don't want to go go back again', is on the one hand that they didn't want to get sent back home by the company, but on another more deeper level also that they don't want to dwell on the past, get lost in nostalgia, or rely on their past achievements alone? Its in the present tense, possibly for this reason. This would also tie into the message of Yet To Come and the entire Proof project-- to acknowledge, reflect and appreciate the past but not get caught up in it, but look forward to the future (run bulletproof run, go get it go get it, the best is yet to come, etc.). Yet To Come and Run BTS are deceptively simple compared to previous BTS tracks, but there's lots to unpack and the message is very profound. Its clear that BTS put a lot of thought in what they want to say through Proof and the 3 new songs. At first I was disapointed we're getting only 3 new tracks, but now I see it makes perfect sense. Anything more would have been filler. P.s. I really enjoy that you go through the lyrics as it gives me a deeper appreciation of the music.

Yessss another banger🔥🔥 I'm glad that you found your favorite BTS song so far. I'm enjoying your journey with BTS. Just a piece of information for you that is not mentioned in the lyrics breakdown. They were trainees before BTS was formed and when trainees receive a call from the agency to come to their office usually it's bad news. The agency will tell the trainee that "you're not good enough so we want you to go back home". Actually, Jimin mentions in a documentary (I think it was either Burn the stage or Break the silence) that he feared that he'll be sent back home when he received a call from the company. So that's why they are saying "they shudder about the thought of it" and saying "please don't send me back home".

BTS came from a small company and this song basically tells their story... they got shafted many times by broadcasting shows just because of their small company... the boys worked hard and their fan base, ARMY, made so much noise to promote them and got them noticed.... Honestly, the guitar and the rapping parts kinda gave this song a Limp Bizkit-esque vibe (i hope I'm not weird for thinking that). But like, in all seriousness, it's a nice song. I still feel like BTS kinda deviated from what they were (musically, of course) after their breakout in the US, became more poppy and stuff and while it's not necessarily a bad thing, at times you just miss songs with "that" certain vibe they were once bringing to the table. This song, luckily, has that vibe to me, they brought it back after a while which is cool. Also, I really like and appreciate your videos, you definitely seem to be genuine on your channel, your commentary is great and I vibe with your personality (and music taste 😬) too. I wish you luck and for your channel to grow, we all need some more genuine people in our lives.

It's an amazing casual live performance ( no choreo) and so great to see the difference from 2013 to 2019, live vocals and the intruments are perfect 🤌 The ARMYPEDIA performance is an hour long chat and song performance (3 songs total) on BANGTANTV but there are no English subs as that is prior to english subs being provided. I highly recommend watching the video from the channel Enjoy BTS More with just the No More Dream performance as they have added english subs. They also have separate videos of their performances of the other 2 songs they performed for ARMYPEDIA with English subs included. I'm sure I've mentioned before but they often use Doolset Bangtan for the english lyrics so they have great accuracy. This lyric video didn't do justice to their solo voices. Quality is reduced I guess. Also I hope you notice the difference in Jimin's, Jungkook's, Jin's Voice on that part - "our two feets are our gasoline, let's go now are you ready yeah yeah" (I didn't include V cuz he didn't sing this part) You can clearly see how Jungkook when he sings this parts is "mellower and sweet" How Jin's take on same part is "high and shrill" How Jimin added sensual vocals on the same part . This reminds me color coding by this creator was faulty in the beginning "tell me what you wanna, tell me what you wanna yeah" This is Jimin's sensual vocals (not Jungkook's.. as shown in video) And.
