Very best of luck to you both, I'm sure you'll have great days. Nothing like a road trip to a race to get that 'buzzy' feeling. For Endure 24, we've hired our own adventure bus motorhome. It's got a tv and a fridge and we're only going from Winchester to Henley! Will be really interested to hear how the Salomon shoes go for you. Forgot to add, definitely up for a cap.

Hi. See you there. I'm doing the 100Km. This is only my second Ultra Trail and training is not going well so will focus more in enjoying the ride and trying to keep under the cut off times. Those Salomon Ultra Glide look amazing and definately something I would like to try. For now, I will do the 100Km with the Inov-8 Terraultra G 270. I'm guessing I would love to have some more cushioning in the second part of the race.

​@@Run4Adventure It was a DNF at 72.5 Km I'm affraid. However it was a big learning experience in multiple dimensions (nutrition, shoes, training, etc). Next one, it's Lakes in a Day (50 miles) in October. Nevertheless, I'm fully commited to try again next year and get it done 👍 Weekend was great. Hope you also had a great weekend and race. @@jorgemoura3062 Sorry to hear that Jorge! 😔 Unfortunately it can happen when we are pushing our bodies hard over long distances. It was tough conditions out on the course and I really struggled but managed to drag myself to the finish. You definitely have to go back next year and finish it off! Good luck. Gel every 30 minutes and handheld took water every 15 minutes. Pineland Farms 50k, negative split it back in May off a long run of 26.2 kilometers.

Quick question: Would you buy an oversized waterproof so you can easily wear it over your race vest and stow away without removing the vest? I have a great Mountain Equipment jacket that is fine for mandatory kit but doesn't fit over full flasks. However I don't see any runners in KZbin videos with big baggy jackets that fit over everything

Definitely not Rich 👎 If your waterproof jacket is to big and not fitted, one it flaps around in the wind and acts like a parachute. Not ideal if it's windy but also all the rain water will gather in the creases of the jacket where it's to big. The water will sit there and then penetrate through the fabric! There are waterproof running jackets on the market that have a pleat on the back that allow you to put the jacket on over your pack but the jacket will still be your correct size 👍 Hope this helps and thanks for watching 🙏

It really depends if there check points on the race where you can fill up your bottles? I'd say if there are check points you'll be fine with just the two bottle on the front 👍 Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel Gonzalo 🙏
