I do remembered Rotunda amusement Park because I went there back in 1994 where I went on the rides like the Dracula Castle ghost train, the rollercoaster and the Waltzers. It was great fun in Folkestone in the 1990s! Thanks for uploading this video from July 1997.

Whatever happened to Folkestone? There is nothing on the promenade today.

Great memories, I was operating the small kiddies roller coater that's just in shot in front of the main one there in 97

Glad you liked the video! I wonder what happened to that small kiddy coaster? It was there when I was a kid in the early 80's. I always knew it as the Bumpy coaster.

@Ian the postie hey Ian,yeah thanks for the upload ,the rotunda holds a lot of memories for me as I was only 16 in 97 and worked on a few of the smaller rides for 1 summer ,great for meeting girls lol..had totally forgotten the name of it though and really unsure what happened to it Ian after 97

I lived in the horse shoe shaped tall architecturally impressive flats adjacent to the Rotunda..Great view of fun every day
