Caught up to #23 so far, wanted to echo some sentiments I saw in other comments regarding the narrative and editing quality. Watching the videos back to back, you can really see how much you’re improved over the months in terms of pacing and engagement, cutting in exposition with gameplay to keep the viewer’s attention. In one of the videos you said you’d only been doing this for four months at that point and it was a genuine surprise, you’ve got the marked quality of someone whose been at this for ages. Great stuff, fantastic work 👍

I think this series works so well for you in part because you played slayer mostly before but never the quests without guides. So you know the areas/items 90% of the time but not the puzzles. So we get to see you stalled just enough for it not to get boring or have you misdirect yourself by knowing enough to do so with valid but wrong ideas.

First, I have to say, I love this series. It's a reminder of how things used to be. The nostalgia that many gamers yearn for is this. The act of just playing the game. Not looking up videos or meta, but just diving in. It encouraged me to do WoW: Classic SoD without any addons. I didn't level as fast, but I didn't care. I took the time to listen to the NPCs, read the quest logs, and digest the story; the game was more fun for it. Nostalgia has never been about how games have changed, but how we have changed. Thank you!

I started doing every quest unguided at the start of the year, but I do it with my brother. It is literally the most fun I have playing the game. My brother recommended this series to me recently and I've watched it non stop for the past few days. We did Desert Treasure unguided earlier in the year and it was one of my favourite quests so far so I'm very much looking to seeing you do it. All that said, I do look up guides for bosses if I can't manage it; If I'd had to beat Vanstrom Klause without a guide, it would've legitimately taken me years.

Special attack weapons will use the style they are predominant too, so when you spec with a dmace it will always be crush no matter what style you have it on
@Erwin8386 ай бұрын
18 years playing on and off and never knew
@KubiaSpeed6 ай бұрын
It actually uses your current accuracy roll. If you have d mace on stab, it rolls the 40 stab accuracy and converts it to crush, aka you actually hit less with the spec because the crush bonus is 60 so it'd roll off that 60 if you used crush to start with. Always swap to the spec attack style, or you just lose out because of the spaghetti code.

The lore for the 175qp was when it was released rfd was RuneScapes 100th quest which was a mile stone, so they took it back to the first quest ever released ( cooks assistant ) and at that time you needed every quest in t e game complete ( with all the rfd sub quests ) to take on the final boss to complete the quest which is why you need 175qp ( max total qp before completion of rfd when it was released )
