@@LonzosStudios no coming down to sea level gives you more oxygen to your body which can decrease your time as you have much more energy for the body to work with. I know this first hand when I ran in Colorado in high school then went to college in Texas to run. My times for the 100, & 200 dropped dramatically.. THOSE ARE CLASS 2 AND CLASS 1 TIMES IN JAMAICA 😂😂

I don’t know why people are surprised. Canada has never been a sprint nation. Other than Degrasse, what was the last Canadian man to medal in the 100m final in the Olympics? Donovan Bailey 28 years ago. Canada has had some great athletes here and there, but if you are expecting US or Jamaican level talent…you’re a fool

Canada 4x100 Olympic silver medalists, and 2022 world champions 🤔

I clearly specified 100m finals. Having athletes who consistently medal in the 100m, 200m, and 400m sprints makes you a sprint nation. Winning gold in the 4x1 in 2022 and then 1996 and only on the men’s side does not make Canada a sprint nation. compared to sprint nations like USA and Jamaica, it’s laughable. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Good point, it's been a while since '96, but let's not forget all the 4X100 medals, Priscilla Lopes (bronze in 2008) in the Olympics, and at the Worlds: Surin (silver in 1999), Felician (Gold in 2003, silver in 2005), Christopher (bronze in 2005), and, again, three 4X100medals in recent yrs. Just sayin'.

Laughable times. Same for the UK 100m trials. It’s athletic malpractice if Jamaica or the US lets UK and Canada beat them in the relay.

WHAT A DISGRACE!!!A BIG COUNTRY LIKE CANADA WITH ALL THEIR TECHNOLOGY COULD NOT INSTANTLY GET THE WINNER OF THE 100 METERS RACE RIGHT!!!

Did they already make the Olympic qualifying standard? If not he has some racing to do.

Winning time is 10.2. You have thousands of High-schoolers all over the USA running these times.

No one here has any chance of medalling in Paris. Nothing to see here.
