That bottom of the screen graphic of the course and elevation tracking where the runners are is really cool!

For anyone wondering, this footage is much better than the men's race

NAU still holding back Elise Stearns and now Baloga sat out. Not sure if those are injuries or what. Maybe a little bit of gamesmanship on the part of Coach Smith.

The next 3 where white girls, also under Valby's course record, came on strong to finish in such a fantastic time. Another in 7th was around 19:20 also. Great running the top 3 brings out the best in the others.

How do you get yourself "race sharp" if you're not racing? Sometimes the commentators say silly things.

Probably used the wrong word there. More about peaking at exactly the right time and avoiding injuries. If someone isn't feeling well on a specific race day but is on regular training schedule, you might not race them that day to avoid injury or illness knowing you have plenty of time to get them race ready with at least 3 more races to go- conference, regional, national.
