Last weekend I ran 27.5km and it felt pretty good, this weekend I had hoped to do 30km, however despite some extra rest my calves felt a bit tight going into it.
Before heading out for my run there are a few tasks to take care of, getting my post-run recovery shake ready, getting some overnight oats ready for lunch, getting hydration and gel ready and packing my running vest.
Last weekend I used some @kendalmintco mint chocolate gel for the first time, this week I thought I'd give a bit of a review. I really like the idea of using the gel flask, cutting out all that single-use plastic.

My overnight oats recipe:
- 1 cup of dried oatmeal
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- 225g (half a tub) of protein yoghurt
- some chai seeds
- dash of oat milk
Mix and leave in fridge for at least 4 hours.
Add some jam as a topping.
650 kcal, 80g carbs, 55g protein.
