I have this annoying hip pain on my left side. I think I have weak glutes. Especially my left side is very weak. Since I perform yoga 2 or 3 times a week I don't think it is sciatica or piriformis syndrome cuz I stretch a lot. One month ago I added running to my daily cardio workout and the pain started with my running. I am gonna try these exercises. Thank you so much!

These are relatively low level exercises, but you may find benefits doing them 2-3x a week if you are just starting to work on these muscles.

İ have run for years but last year i had really bad aches and had a herniated disc surgery. But after the surgery, i started running and i had similar pains . I've had therapy for 3 weeks and we found out that I might have a problem about my gluteus medius. Running unconsciously without exercise can cause problems on gluteus medius?

I broke 9 ribs can't run right now Going to work on my glute meads with my daughter She is a sprinter with excellent running form during her sprints But her form strugles when it comes to distance. What else can she do to build her distance strength?

The biggest thing is slowly ramping up her distance running as appropriate, then the other is while she is starting to ramp up. Working on progressive strength training, especially when they are young, is important. Also...I hope you are okay
