Great video! As a thick leg girly, my favorite running shorts of all time are lululemon track that high rise 3” - they have a slit on the side but the diaper is more ideal imo lol

I also have super long, fine hair so for long runs I put it up in super high pigtails, braid them and then Bobbi pins them into 2 buns. So 2 space buns! It hold sooo well and my hair never gets tangled. If I want to wear a hat, I do the same hairstyle and wear a visor.

I have those Hoka Clifton 9s and I only like it for walking and not running. I like my Feetures socks. Also, have you heard of Goodr sunglasses? they're very popular in the running community and are like $25 too :)

I’m built similarly to you and I honestly love the lululemon align shorts (in black so no one sees your swamp butt 😂). I know they’re not intended for running, but they serve me well!
