Thank you for making this video!! I used to HATE running. Like I would cry before gym everyday in middle school AND highschool. I decided to try running this year for myself and my health and fell in love with it because i decided to not care about pace. For anyone who thinks they can't run because they're not "good" enough, just remember a 16 min mile is just as FAR as a 5 min mile. You still ran a mile and you're still incredible!!!!

That's true. I mean running a 5min/mile will make you feel so tired and you won't be able to run a long distance. Anywhere between 8-12min/ mile is still great. I usually run around 4 miles and it takes 35min on average

This is very motivational. I was a strong runner in 2019. running 3-4 miles at a time 3-4 times a week. I was my best self.....and covid happened. :( Over three years I gained 40 pounds, no more work outs, no gym time. I have just started running a mile every other day. This makes me feel so much better and makes me feel like I need to give myself more grace.

I specialize in nutrition and exercise science! Some tips I have for you, (take them or leave them) before running you want to do a dynamic/mobility warmup and stretch directly after. If you’re running everyday I would foam roll 3-4x per week. Lastly, an apple or half an apple before your run/workout will be your bestie!! It’s like natural Pre workout👌🏼 I really enjoyed watching you take on this challenge!

Great job! As a cross country runner, I know the first miles you ever do are pretty difficult. What a lot of people don’t realize is that, yeah, it’s physically hard to run for a while, if you don’t wear the proper shoes you can destroy your legs etc, but how much mental requires. You have to be the one to say, no, I’m not stopping here, I’m going a little bit longer. Great job!

Last summer I ran 2 miles, 5 days a week for a while until I started working a very physically rigorous job on the weekends. After a couple weeks into moving strenuously every single day, I found that my runs were harder than when I first started, which was a huge disappointment. I think my body was just so physically exhausted so I had to give it up :,( It wasn’t until after I was done with that job did I see any weight loss. Now this summer I’ve been exercising more consistently but also in a healthier way so I can keep it up!

So I started running and running and running! Started off small and eventually was running 10km minimum every day! I felt AMAZING! then in mid 2021 when I was training for a half marathon I tore my meniscus in my knee 😩😩😩😩 and running since then has never been the same. I’ve been reading running books like running with Kenyans and born to run. Apparently, our body adapts to running better (and doesn’t hurt) when we run barefoot (or as close as we can get to barefoot).
@kaitlanmorehouse37766 ай бұрын
Also, I don’t think running is hard on the body. I think our society has made it hard to run, giving us shoes that cause us back and feet and leg pain (yes it’s the shoes) and aren’t conducive to proper form. Running should feel good. 100%.

I love SheFit! I was a G cup and their most restrictive bra really did its job. My Mom and I called it my Tank Bra, because it was like being inside an armored tank of a bra. 😂 I had migraines from wearing bras normally so I got some and wore them under my clothes all the time. Finally had a reduction and they’re not totally necessary, but I’m so thankful I had them when I did.

I remember my first mile in the 6th grade. I HATED IT! 11 minutes! 😠 I always dreaded Friday’s because that’s when they made us run the mile in PE. After a year of doing this though, I became pretty good at it and was sometimes the 3rd, 2nd, or even 1st (one time) to finish from the whole class At around the same time, however, my brother was pushing me to play soccer with him and his buddies every Tuesday and Thursday. It was no simple training. It was intensive cardio repetitive intervals. So I had a lot of conditioning. I joined my first official soccer team around my second college year. I was in the best shape of my entire pathetic life. Now it’s been 8 years later. Not doing too too bad but lost a lot of the conditioning and tone. I became a long haul truck driver. But Id love to go back to that feeling of top condition. I felt so light on my feet, almost like I was running on air. I could eat anything I want and still lose weight lol

Girl! You read my MIND! I was going to say, "get a better bra!" after seeing you run the first few days! I'm a DD and I completelyyyy feel that bouncing pain! Lower back aches for dayyysss! I got a SHEFIT bra and unfortunately hated it... I just buy cheaper ones from Academy (bcg is the brand I buy there, I think?) or TJMaxx that are high/super high support. I usually buy L or XL depending on brand for these big babies lol. Another thing, don't run in crappy shoes! Old hiking shoes are going to be worn out and probably added to the aches and pains. I LOVE Brooks! One more thing -- when you run, try to pick a surface. If you go from track/treadmill to road your shins will hate you...bad! You are a true bad ass!! 9min miles are pretty dang good! If you like those Liquid IV, you should give LMNT a try if you haven't already! I love them! I hope we can collab one day! I am currently working on my BS in Healthy Lifestyles & Fitness Science (and CPT/HWC certs!)

I do quite like running. Your video was good to watch. I liked your segment on sports bras as I find that about 90% of supposed sport bras are utterly useless and often less supportive than an ordinary bra. As a fellow bigger busty lady (I'm an E cup) I've oftrn found getting a good sport bra difficult. For the longest time the only one I remotely rated was the Shock Absorber Run bra. Although recently I aquired 2 Syrokan full support racer back bras that really do the job.
