I'm currently like a 7:00/km runner, working my way to being possibly a 6:00/km runner. I often when i'm at the end of the workout, just absoulely send it for the last 200m or so.. got up to 4:00 pace and was like wow people hold this and faster for a whole race.. just amazing! Also awesome video, such good vibes with you lot :)

Excuse the KZbin username I’ve had since 16 and never updated- I literally never comment on videos but I think you need my cousin for this one- he holds the world record for the fastest marathon and half pushing a wheelchair, including someone on a ventilator. He is an absolutely phenomenal runner and does it all to raise awareness of MND- his story would make an amazing TRC meets.

@@runningchannel Most of my runs tend to be the two miles of sidewalk between my house and my kids' daycare! But when marathon training is in full swing I end up running long miles on country roads. Some track work here and there, or else just intervals around a flat(ish) block. And every few months the fantastic running paths in Central Park and the West Side Highway in NYC! Basically, when you live in a small midwest USA town, you run on whatever you've got!

That was great to watch. Love watching you all run. Can't help feel that Jess still has untapped potential. And then when Andy takes off for the final leg: his body language is "I'm going to take this slow" and the clock says otherwise. Also loved Tom running super-hard to keep the camera on Andy as he cruises it home. And the formation shot as Andy crossed the finish line was great filmmaking. Was that the original take, or did you go back and do it a few times to get it right?

My half marathon PB from 1987 is 76:25 - I could definitely have done with someone taking over for the last 5km that day as I was pretty much on for 75 mins at 10 miles before the wheels fell off.
