今まで、バイクは「軽さ」は何にも勝ると思ってましたが、隼で感じた「重さ」が、乗り心地にかなり貢献することがわかりました。ゴールドウィングも、重いからこそ安定したり、ブレなかったりするんでしょうね。長距離走るには、重さは不可欠です。

I love my 2023 Goldwing Tour DCT. I ordered it early in 2022. I am in the US. Had to wait for almost a year because of slowed production at the factory in Japan. I ordered a 2022 model at the dealership but, when my turn finally came in September, Honda was already making the 2023 colors 😅 (I got the black and gold). It was finally delivered to me here in the US in November. I already have over 15,000 KM on it. I love it. In the US, Goldwings are often associated with very old retired men. There is no particularly good reason for this, they are just thought of as an “old man motorcycle” - probably because they were very popular with old war veterans with injuries that made it difficult for them to ride smaller or less comfortable bikes. I am only 40, but I’m glad I got one early instead of waiting for retirement and for my bones to hurt 😂. Compared to other touring models that I tried, for me the Goldwing has the best comfort, features, balance, and overall riding performance in its category, and is very easy to work on and make additions to without needing to hire a mechanic. I will probably be riding Goldwings for the rest of my life - or until they stop making them. I am worried that new environmental laws and treaties might make Goldwings in the future a very difficult prospect. Edit: also, you have probably figured this out already since it has been a long time, but the feature that pops out directly beneath the windshield is an airflow redirector, for people who like a little air to hit their face while riding. It’s nice on a hot day, especially here in the western US desert in the summer! (Yesterday it got very hot here, almost 44 C, luckily the humidity is very low here).

このバイクの魅力がよく伝わってきます。バイクであってバイクでない、でもやっぱりバイク。そんな感じ。圧倒的な存在感と高級感と乗り心地、そして見た目からは想像できないワインディングの軽快さ。そんな感じが伝わってきました。いつかはこれに乗って日本を一周してみたいと思いました。

Very nice review of a beautiful machine. I was looking at Harley Davidsons which are amazing machines but this Gold Wing is on another level. I love the walk mode, reverse and the dash plus all the storage.

Indeed! Harley’s are beautiful but are still antiqued for relatively the same price. More when you start adding accessories. In case you were not aware. These newest generation Gold Wings have Electric windscreen, shaft drive, water cooled engine, backlit handlebar switches for night riding, automotive level horn, LED lighting, 4 ride modes, reverse gear, walking mode gear, hill assist, DCT or manual transmissions. And an airbag model. These bikes are quicker than an upgraded Stage 4 Harley all day long. Whatever you buy, any day on two wheels is a great day. Enjoy. Good luck.

If you ever get a chance to visit the US, you might want to look into renting a Goldwing (or other model) for some splendid rides. Long long ago (1980s~2000s) in a galaxy far far away (名古屋) I rode motorcycles all over Japan, including my then-favourite, a CB1000. But then I bought a 2002 Goldwing in Los Angeles...and never looked back. I still drive it these days (in the US), sometimes wishing I could ship it to Japan for touring. But unpleasant experiences on Japanese toll roads with trucks tailgating me so close I could see the nori stuck in the truck driver's teeth driving turned me off to touring long distances. And in those days, no passengers were allowed on motorcycles on the highways. Thanks again for the Goldwing introduction. 'Keep the shiny side up!'

20代後半に付き合った子は､当時乗ってた、SC22で普通に乗りこなしてました。職場にある､1500Pの､搭乗員候補に抜擢される位､センスが有りましが､ネックが横転車両の起こしでした。

I'm 6 feet tall and have trouble pushing my Goldwings, so don't feel bad. Mine don't have walking mode, so I have to use the engine or the reverse if I want to move. Come to Nevada USA and I will loan you one (earlier model, even more comfortable and fun) to tour the Western US. If my bike had a wake-up audio prompt, I would program it so that every time I started it, it would play where you whispered "Goldwing" at 3:10!

Side view that bike is like a cruise ship and you are one of the most petite women on earth. Kind of funny. Usually in the US, goldwings are owned by retirement age well fed couples.

Tourじゃない無印に乗ってます‼︎ Tourより20kg程軽く後の背もたれが無いから引き起こしもラクですし値段も軽自動車フルオプション装備と変わらない金額で最上級を味わえて満足してます。でも80リットルのツーリングバッグを後に積載するので引き起こしの軽さのメリットはツーリングに行く時だけは感じませんw

なんだこりゃ！わかんねぇ素のrurikoさんの懐かしい訛り調が可愛いなと思いました都会的なrurikoさんとのギャップ感がいい流石にこの車両はバイクの重量を越えている挑戦されるお姿がまたギャップとして映り見れないものが見れた思いです走りについては1度は跨ぎたい車両走り心地は乗った者のみ知るレア体験こんな車両で素敵な人をタンデムしてインカム繋いで綺麗な道をどこまでも… 思い出を残すには充分な時間と思いました普段乗りには向かない車両かなぁと思いつつ夢なら水平対向6気筒に勝る車両！と言い切れるなと思いましたインプレお疲れ様でした楽しい夢ありがとうございました
