There are way too many sensitive comments concerning the father and son situation with Zach and Bill. This is not general hospital, this is crab fishing. Imagine working on a rusty boat that’s BARELY stable in the middle of RAGING seas, and your engineer is neglecting his duties that’s supposed to keep the boat afloat because of his daddy issues. In a profession like this, you’re in a life or death situation. If Zach wanted to address his issues with his father. He should’ve settle those before he agreed to be on that boat. Also being systematically shanghaied isn’t an excuse either. Zach is grown he could have easily told his dad no. Let’s all think for ourselves for once.

The sad part about this whole situation with wild bill is that 3 of his deck hands died ( 1 of them being Nick R.I.P ) and then his son Zach ends up going on a different boat. So not only did he lose his Deck Boss but he lost his ( son ) engineer 2.
