The problem with Russ has always been his decision making. Even beyond the fact he can't shoot, it's that he makes terrible decisions with the ball. He's just not a point guard. A point guard should be cerebral by understand time and situation and creating the best possible shot on a given possession. He's too self-centered to run the show and he instead wants to be the show. It's always been like this even from his time in OKC.

This was probably the most expected "not going to work" player move in professional sports ever. The thing is, Westbrook doesn't care, anyone who criticizes him is just a hater because he has the stats to prove his great. Because of that attitude, he will never change his ways. He will never improve the areas where he's lacking or at least learn to stay away from those situations. He made the triple double a useless stat. A player that has 10+ assists but rushes a shot with a small lead in the last minute of a game, or carelessly turns the ball over to lose the game, but had a triple double and wins MVP because of that. Westbrook will give you a great game once in a while to get the fans hopes up. Especially in recent years when he's been on a new team every season, fans would think here we go, he's figuring out how to play with these guys, the issues until now were just him being on a new team. Then he'll go back to turnovers, bricked shots and boneheaded plays. I'd hate it if he was on my team...
