People don't give him enough respect. In my opinion he's probably one of the most complete players in NBA history. If he decided to focus primarily on a single stat there is no telling what he could achieve. He could probably average 40 a season or 20 assists a season or even maybe 20 rebounds. The guys work rate and dedication is second to none. He could probably keep up this triple double season until he's 35.

CP, Kyrie, Curry, Dame, Jrue, Murray, Zach, Rozier off the bench, Simmons, Burke, Mudiay, hard to list a team with a good to great PG these days so yea man he's top 3 current era no doubt

I'm really sick of NBA fans. We no longer appreciate these types of historic performances for what they are. We just choose to look at the stat sheet and nitpick everything the player did wrong. I hope for the sake of basketball that future NBA fans focus on the on court moments and performances instead of how many shots were missed or how many free throws a player had.
@newbct6665 жыл бұрын
AKay fans change due to the fact the nba has also changed. What made Big Os triple double a season so impressive is he did it at will without trying. Wesbrook in the other hand is only preoccupied with triple doubles at this pt. He’s shooting career low from the ft line (65%) 3 pt line (28%) but due to the fact that his teammates allow him to snag their rebounds due to him wanting to stat pad it truly isn’t as significant as Os triple doubles or Wilts. Same as how KD rings are held as much value as Lebrons one ring for Cleveland.

@makis73835 жыл бұрын
@@newbct666 Nope. Oscar played 45min/game with 20-30 more possesions, on a faster pace against lower competition and managed to do it once whereas Russ with 34-36min/game with 20-30 less possesions on a lower pace against tougher competition managed to do it 3 concecutive seasons. Today the average number of possesions a team has is around 80-85. Back then it was 100-110. So take a look at Russ's stats per 100 possesions and you'll see that for example in his MVP season he'd average 35-15-15 back in the 60's. So...

Like bruh, seeing somebody get 20 rebounds in a game is somewhat rare. Seeing somebody getting 20 assists is also rare. But seeing 20 rebounds AND 20 assists on top of 20 points is absolutely phenomenal. It doesn't matter if the man shot in the mid 30s% He did so much more for the team in his other areas. This was a historic night.
