a tip to the women who live alone out there. I once heard someone give this advice years ago when I was a kid... If you're a woman and you live alone go to the thrift store and try to find a pair of used work boots and some used baseball hats. hang the hat's up or you would hang your stuff and put the boots where they can be seen from the front door. even if you have a porch you can put a pair of old work boots on the porch. The purpose of this is to give the illusion to anyone who may come to the door or anyone that comes in that a guy is around or at least comes and goes.

Moment they stopped Russel and saw the tires and vehicle that had been tipped he became the prime suspect. Has nothing to do with belief. It has everything to do with evidence. Why were they after Larry? I have no clue. He was a gun owner and a hunter that alone gains unwarranted enemies to point fingers these days in Canada. Most folks larry's age in the middle class are at home without alibi in the evening and night. Obviously in hind sight all the evidence against Larry was circumstantial and false. But if they had nothing else and no one else to go on then they followed it till they did. Police did their job. The public on the other hand is the public. The thought of someone like this Russell creep crawling into the basement window of my home while my wife sleeps and I'm away... is why, when we got engaged we adopted our first (female)of two German Shepherds from the humane society. A week after our wedding we adopted a second (male) from a different local rescue. No protection training needed for a breed with inherent defensive traits, vast intelligence regarding strangers, and the kind of bark which says- "go knock on another door!" And while this detective may very well be a badass, it took authorities way too long to catch this guy. And who in the world were these witnesses who were so observant that they noticed the SUV at night in the field? They must've been very familiar with the victims property and, I suppose, the victim. Lucky break you wouldn't want to have to depend on to stop a serial killer ramping up his game. I guess many big cases are cracked with lucky breaks like that. Russ is just whole other level of creepy though. You have to wonder if he's used his authority or fighter pilot notoriety to lure other victims beyond the four in this story to their deaths. All I can say is: for the price of kibble and daily exercise, you get unlimited loyalty and free protection. A good vacuum cleaner doesn't hurt either.

Ya well it was not just an air wing, it was the largest air force base in Canada and he was considered to be the top logistics and VIP aviator in the force. In short, things like fuel and food and weapons transfers could not happen unless he was on top of everything.

It's astonishing - -he was not only in a very responsible position but a high profile one too, with regular appearances in the media. This is nothing new though - many murderers 'hide in plain sight', assuming the image of a decent/sensitive/respectable/friendly all round great guy when they are the total opposite. Look how Chris Watts fooled everyone he was a wonderful husband and father - before he murdered his pregnant wife and two little girls.

He was definitely 'a thrill seeker', I think it started with him wanting to be a pilot. His thrill seeking then escalated in a dark and twisted manner and would have continued to escalate. I reckon there would have been a lot more killings if he hadn't been caught.
@helenaville59395 жыл бұрын
I disagree that he was a thrill seeker. That term is way too benign for such a cold and callous murderer. When he chose a career in the military he was seeking a disguise of respectability that a uniform and job titles bring. It's a common phenomenon that many psychopaths seek out such trappings of respectability that more easily facilitate their evil deeds and raise them above suspicion.

Your right thrill-seeking is a red flag of cheaters and I guess a psychopath. Those sanpaku eyes though. When you see the whites of their eyes or a evil look that's another red flag. Also black attire which means kinky, sadistic especially with chrome studs, chrome belt buckles. Tattoos is form of self mutilation from what I've read or again risk taking.

So incredibly sad for the families of the victims and the victims themselves . So incredibly sad for the family and friends of the CO as well. He’s really lived a double life and they had no idea. His best friend seems truly heartbroken and poor Marcan (forgive me if it’s spelled incorrectly) seems to have survivors guilt for poor Jessica and even carries guilt for what happened to other survivors. I hope they all find peace🕊✨

Actually he loved her and I hate sticking up for him if that’s how people interpret this but that’s the only reason he confessed the most awful and embarrassing things about him so fast was to minimize the effect on her with a trial or them tearing her place apart. It’s weird i know because he does ent have the attributes of a caring husband but some people can be monsters yet still care about a select few, Israel Keyes comes to mind

I went through the most horrendous things a child can suffer, I had no parents and in spite of being a fairly good looking guy I have never had a girlfriend. The ordeals I went through had their consequences but I have never in my life even thought about hurting another human being, it´s so far away from any thought I could have. Many have had terrible childhoods and grown up to be fine people, this guy was just brain damaged from birth.

Texas Tea - Williams was born already hard-wired with certain traits that science is learning more about, in particular, with regard to psychopathic tendencies and certain sexual predilections; for lack of a better word: "fetishes," which means a person derives sexual satisfaction from, or cannot get aroused without, the use or thoughts of what are normally non-sexual objects. Cross-dressing is another thing altogether.
