Never mind, Jake! You've probably never heard the consonant "Dy". It's the english transcription of a "soft D". This consonant is common just in Slavic languages I think. It's pronounced similarly to "d," except it's not touched to the hard palate behind the upper teeth with the tip of the tongue curved upward, but with the flat of the tongue behind the tip when it's in a position like you're about to pronounce a "y" at the beginning of a word (e.g. "you"). Greetings from Czechia and Sláva Ukraini!

USA aid to Ukraine. The facts. 90% of the money in aid to Ukraine stays in the US. It goes to the US arms makers and has helped boost the economy and jobs in a wide variety of US states. The arms delivered are old stock (30 and 40 years old) that would otherwise have to be decommissioned at huge cost to the American tax payer. The US made $238 billion in overseas sales in 2023 because of success on the battlefield with American armaments. Only 4% of the military budget was used for Ukraine last year, money already allocated. So not only is the US making huge profits from the war, they are increasing their international standing, doing the right thing morally, and allowing Ukraine to take on and destroy their biggest enemy without committing US troops to the fight. So, what's the problem?

@petersinclair399712 күн бұрын
The rest of NATO could defeat Russia without the United States. NATO does want a direct war with NATO. Putin knows NATO would win such a conflict. In the first instance, Putin wanted Ukraine as first step towards rebuilding the USSR, slice by slice. Things haven’t worked as planned for Putin and, Putin’s thinking today seems more directed at self-preservation than conquering Eastern Europe. Trump? Who knows? Using US (or European) ground forces would be a mistake. Instead, the West and others can up, a generation or two, the weapons technologies supplied to Ukraine and further tighten economic sanctions and close loopholes such not stopping Russia’s shadow fleets.

I'm hoping Trump will see the widespread support for Ukranian integrity in the U.S. and the desire for an improved economic situation, and respond by ensuring we maximize support for Ukraine in a manner which also brings profit to the U.S. After all, if we are forced to fight (as in this invasion) we might as well milk it for our benefit. The biggest priority is putting Trump in a position where he has no choice but to continue aiding Ukraine, no matter how much he likes Putin.
@stargazer-elite13 күн бұрын
@@eduardoalamo1240 I think with Trump’s ego he’s already in that position If he stops now, he’ll look weak to most if he continues he’ll look like a warmonger to his own base so he’s in a tight spot, but I think his ego would say looking weak is a lot more of a problem than looking like a warmonger because Trump doesn’t care about hypocrisy he is the definition of hypocrisy so he doesn’t care if the people say he’s a Warhawk after saying he was so anti-war but if he looks weak, that’s what will get him
@wicker123413 күн бұрын
@@eduardoalamo1240 The only reason he 'likes' Putin, because Putin is very friendly with other dictators who financially helped him and his son-in-law. Not to mention, Putin with other dictators again helped him to become president.

I look forward to your posts each and every day. I got a job and stuff now so I can't watch minutes or seconds after the video comes out. I don't expect you'll see this but I'll say this, I love how laser-focused on Ukraine/Russia you are. Your presentation is fantastic. I've watched every video you've put out since this began and I won't be stopping until you stop making your videos. I appreciate your point of view and what you and I and people like us stand for. Thanks for what you do man, I can tell it takes it's toll on you, sometimes at least. Keep doing what you're doing, please and thank you.... and stay out of the YT drama that a couple people are trying to start.

I too, and have been watching several other Ukraine and other international blogs. MSNBC is reporting nothing on Ukraine OR the Middle East. NBC and PBS still do. I think MSNBC has become too expensive to produce for a limited opinion show. It's said there will be big changes in the next 4-5 yrs there.

Thumbs up for your objective reporting, for Ukraine, its armed forces - Ukraine will recover its freedom from the criminal Russian government invasion.
@tonyellis99712 күн бұрын
And if they recover the land what will they do with the people? You know, the 95% that voted to rejoin Russia. There was systematic state persecution of those that identified as ethnic Russian, do we return control of Mariupol back to the Banderites, and the Asov battalion? Ukraine is much more complicated, the west should not interfere, but then again, Ukraine in NATO! American bases on the black sea and control of all those resources.

Hi Jake, General Wesley Clark was on the same Piers Morgan panel that you were on, when that bearded guy was swearing at you. Anyway, General Clark did a marvelous job explaining the history of NATO expansion and the US relationship with Russia in the early 90s. General Clark very effectively diffused some of the Russian talking points on this history that many commentators echo, unwittingly or not. In particular, the idea that the US had some covert intention of forcing Eastern European countries into NATO as an aggressive, expansionist move against Russia, General Clark speaks against that idea from the perspective of someone personally involved in that history. It's a good watch for you and your viewers.
@Micha-qv5uf13 күн бұрын
That talking point is so ridiculous. Eastern European countries were basically begging to join NATO and in all of them an overwhelming majority of the population supported that. Russia was a parasite in the soviet union. They build their entire economy on sucking out Eastern Europe.
