The removal of sports teams might not last long there will probably be some lawsuits so athletes and entertainers can work.

FIFA will always do the right thing, after trying all other options and being cornered by member countries, governments and especially sponsors.

Yeah, their first effort was 'Russia, you can play, but not in Russia, and you can't fly your flag or sing your national anthem', which wasn't really the hard-hitting sanction everyone else was looking for. It took national teams refusing to play, and every other sport banning Russia, for FIFA to backpedal and go for a total ban. My immediate thought when FIFA said Russia could only play in neutral countries was: how are they going to get there, with a total ban on flights from Russia to Europe? Bus?!
