Once the arms enter Ukraine, the arms become perfectly legitimate targets. As soon as those arms cross the border, they become Ukrainian property on Ukrainian soil. No sensible person thinks otherwise. But until that materiel crosses the border into Ukraine, that stuff is on non-Ukrainian soil. If we’re talking about bringing material across the borders with Poland, Hungary, or Slovakia, then anything on the non-Ukrainian side is on NATO territory. For Russia to attack anything or anyone on NATO soil is an act of war. Russia doesn’t get to re-write the rules because their panties are in a bunch over the ways things are going for them right now. We supplied the Soviets during WW2. They liked that. The Soviets supplied communists in combat against us during the Cold War, and we supplied non-communists in combat against them. Plenty of precedent.

NATO isn’t attacking Russian personnel, arms, or armaments in Russia, Ukraine, or anywhere else, regardless of origin. The only people who might attack Chinese arms being supplied to Russia are the Ukrainians. Any arms being supplied to Russia by China will cross the Sino-Russian border in the Far East. This is way beyond Ukrainian reach. It would make no sense for the US to attack arms being supplied to Russia by China in the Far East if NATO isn’t going to fight Russia in Europe. NATO repeatedly has refused to fight Russia in Europe, so there doesn’t appear to be any risk that Chinese delivery of weapons will merit attacks on that hardware once the hardware enters Russian territory.

The biggest problem is just the fact that media chose to cover this now, even though the war in Ukraine has been waging for 8 years. The Donbas region was under constant shelling for that time period. Hope for peace and prosperity for both sides and that BOTH sides see the roar of their ways.
