I can say that it is impossible to hide the losses of thousands of people, the fact is that nowhere are there signs of a large number of wounded being present in the Russian army, this suggests that the losses are minimal, besides, the Russians do not send additional forces to Ukraine and do not call up reservists , this also suggests that the losses of the Russians are negligible. The fact that the losses of the Ukrainian army are several dozen times higher indicates that the Ukrainian authorities, firstly, announced a general mobilization, and secondly, Ukraine releases all bandits from prisons and gives them weapons. Pleasantly surprised to see a lot of adequate reasoning here. Many compare it to the Gulf War, but they are two completely different operations. The first thing I would like to say is about the forces of the parties. The Gulf War shows us that the coalition involved about 700,000 people, the Russian operation in Ukraine, according to Western experts, is about 90,000 Russian soldiers, given that Ukraine is almost twice the size of Iraq. In most of the clashes, units of the Rosgvardiya (analogous to the national guard in the Russian Federation), which is a heavier police unit, more often involved in counter-terrorist operations, are seen. Of course, in some directions, like Kyiv, patatrooper units on heavy equipment were seen, as well as tanks near Kharkov, but most of the troops use Tiger light armored vehicles. Air support is used many times less than in Iraq. Strategic bombers were not used, the strikes are mainly carried out by Caliber cruise missiles. Talking about slow progress is crazy, especially considering that the parties have been observing the silence regime for green corridors for many days, which, unfortunately, are constantly being disrupted. Call me a bot, a servant of the Kremlin, a victim of propaganda, whatever you want, but I see a completely different picture than what the Western media portrays.

I hate to admit but this is not going good for ukraine. They lost too much in 12 days and I don't think they have a navy and air force left. They sunk their own FLAGSHIP and kept asking for jets and no fly zone. The russians here are outnumbered and pretty low tech but look at their advance in only 11 days, winning engagements after engagements. I hope ukrainians are safe away from fighting.

RT doesn't "report", Russians don't even pick up bodies of their own soldiers, Ukrainians take good care of prisoners of war, flagship was sunk for not it getting into opponents hands, they don't win any engagements, all of that should've been done, Kyiv taken after 72 hours, none, of that happens, soldiers are defecting en masse, Russia lost 1200 officers from Western Army, this is really terrible if you watch sources that do verify themself, go get some Good Times Bad Times - yt channel for credible coverage of that war
@averagenow4k2452 жыл бұрын
Meanwhile no T-72s from Ukrainian reserve armored brigades were yet lost. Ukrainians have inflicted about 3 billion dollars worth of damage onto Russian army. Their advance can't really be called an advance because most if not all regions controlled by Russians still show resistance. Despite it looking goof on the map, Russia still hasn't taken all of their day 1 objectives (only Cherson was taken, Mariupol still isn't fully siedged). Ukrainians are performing a mobile defensive, meaning they're moving back if thr situation allows them to or they're gonna loose soon. "Winning engagements" are just Russians moving into whatever Ukrainians have left, most if not all reserve Russian groups on the border have been engaged in the conflict, Russians have nothibg better and they have to pull supplies from the 1960s, like Shilkas, as well as civilian trucks. Lookibg at the econonical side, Russia is the one loosing. They've been considering cutting Russia off from global internet, somethibg they tried to do once in 2019. Rubel is at the point where it's cheaper to wipe your ass with it than to actually buy a roll of shit tape.

The map does not show the real picture. The area of the occupied territories is much larger. In some, not shown, areas, pockets of resistance remain surrounded and they are not shown captured, but in reality they have long been under Russian troops.
@Debre.2 жыл бұрын
If anything, this map exaggerates Russia's area of control by showing areas that have had convoys driven through them as having been occupied, e.g. much of the thick red stretch between Kyiv & Sumy. The only major area (besides the immediate vicinity of the border) where Russia has true occupational control is the Deep South between Mykolaïv & Mariupol.

This map has no mapping to the truth at all. Those areas marked in red here are not occupied. There are no paramilitary units there at all to physically occupy the area. Only the big cities are somehow controlled only by the military, which has to go further, and therefore separate its garrisons into those stationed in the cities and those that are moving forward offensively. Even the little fragments that widen the red field are not places of combat. One of the less reliable maps...
@mertcebeci262 жыл бұрын
I respect the work you are doing but I must say that these maps are yours and the ones like yours are pretty misleading. Russians barely control all that area. There’s tons of villages, towns etc in those red areas where not even one Russian boot has touched. They just advance in certain directions, they don’t sweep the area. So it would be more accurate if you can show their advances with arrows, lines, control points. Just because some place is between two Russian advance doesn’t mean that place is under Russian control
@hulahula61822 жыл бұрын
Many other channels post maps too, compare all of them for a more accurate depiction
@bluewanderer94502 жыл бұрын
And how do you envisage controlling the territory? Putting out a chain of soldiers? We control the roads, the most important settlements and supply nodes on the territory indicated by the reds. Yes, there are settlements where we do not even enter due to their uselessness and also due to the absence of the AFU there.

this was the most active phase of the war in terms of the mobility of the invading mordor horde. Now, the death is setting in while the front lines have largely evened out, EVEN IN AUGUST NOW. Lol, actually the only difference at the time of this writing is russia has severodonetsk and lysychansk and ukraine has ALL of the north back. Momentum definitely swings back toward ukraine now. If the russians couldnt win in the span of this timelapse, they are now eventually doomed.
