I have been to Sochi - Adler - Krasnaya Polyana 2 times (2017 and 2018) and I really enjoyed it. People were kind and the atmosphere during the FIFA World Cup was amazing. The facilities worked at top level -sport facilities, roads, train services, shops open till very late and it was very safe in the streets... Some times it seemed slightly overcrowded, but it was natural for an international massive event. The beaches are not the best in the world, but enough good for the Black Sea.... A Jeep excursion to the Adygea mountains is very advisible and a visit to the Krasnaya-Polyana Mountain Olympic Facilities is just mandatory. The resort is worthy to visit!

I'd recommend Anapa and Gelendzhik, two other great resort cities in Russia as well as Kislovodsk with its mineral and hot springs, and Astrakhan with fantastic fishing sites, the world centre of black caviar, melons and water melons. Cities of the Golden Ring are worthy of seeing too, with their medieval wooden architecture. I mean places like Uglich, Rostov Veliki, Suzdal and others. I do not know too many of assholes in Russia, not nearly as many as you can finds in the United Slums of America.

We were having a bath in local city-sauna while mom was staying in a queue with a food voucher )) Such was the time...no it completely different )

Sochi is a beautiful place to visit I've been there 3 times and was surprised of the nature the parks the restaurants the city and real good looking people. Sochi is also a safe place and the people are very nice. I wanna go back soon and visit my in laws and family. It's different from here it's fresh air and really beautiful landscape and the tunnels threw mountains make it unique.

I grew up in Russia and I can say that Moscow and St Petersburg are truly amazing, but the sad truth is, these are the only good looking Russian cities. The rest of Russia is a pile of shit. Visit Omsk, Ufa, Chelyabinsk of other not touristic cities and see how real Russia looks like.

Cmon, Russia has so much gas, oil, and other natural resources, and with good management, every Russian city could look like Dubai, Singapore, or LA. But instead, we have cities like Norilsk or Magnitogorsk, that look like fucking industrial wasteland, and the average salary there is about 500 USD a month.

I’ve been traveling to Russia since 1993. Have been to more that 35 cities and thousands oof villages. The people are wonderful, friendly and very intelligent. The country’s standards of living have improved, infrastructure is being created and with the sanctions, is becoming more self sufficient. The greatest asset is the people, then natural resources. Специально для людей, которые пишут необоснованную чушь под этим роликом. 1) Во первых, кроме Москвы, Санкт-Петербурга в России есть целый ряд городов, которые не уступают большинству другим городам любых развитых стран: Казань, Новосибирск, Екатеринбург, Нижний Новогород, Сочи, Краснодар, Калининград, Владивосток, Севастополь, Симферополь, Тюмень, Хабаровск, Псков, Смоленск, Иннополис и тд.… Сочи тому пример. 2) Кроме Сочи из теплых черноморских регионов - Геленджик, Анапа, Туапсе, Новороссийск тоже теплые курортные города Краснодарского края. В которых развита сеть марин, яхт-клубов, авиа-клубов, дайвинга. Все они относятся к субтропическим регионам России. При этом это не самые южные регионы нашей страны. 3) Если кто то думает, что автор показал только лучшие места, то должен Вас огорчить. Автор не показал полностью "Красную Поляну", полный парк "Сочи Парк", "Нацпарк", поселок "Сириус", частные поселки за пределами города (которые сравнимы с московской областью) , туристические места за пределами самого города, и самых блатных нетуристических мест на окраине города. 4) Сочи стал настолько привлекательным регионом, благодаря успешно проведенным "Олимпийским играм 2014", после чего продолжал самостоятельно развиваться, и это заслуга именно властей государства и отдельно региона. 5) В условиях санкций Краснодарский Край, особенно Сочи как раз не пострадает. Сочи входит в топ 10 туристических направлений страны, в условиях внутреннего туризма, поток отдыхающих туда только вырос. В Сочи выращивают много фруктов, овощей, также делают сладости, спрос на которые вырос буквально в 2022 году. Также в Сочи вырос спрос на недвижимость из за чего цены взлетели до космоса, так как люди понимают, что стоит сейчас вкладываться в недвижимость. В моем северном регионе можно встретить много стройматериалов из Сочи, краснодарские растения и цветы, магазины сладостей в которых продают сочинских мармелад, конфеты, чурчхелу, похвалу, сушенные фрукты и тд. 5) Можете мне любую статистику приводить, старые фотки: грязных улиц, ветхого жилья из глубин России, но остается фактом, что в сферах: перевозок, логистики , недвижимости, строительства, аэронавигации, научных исследований, флористики, конкретно в Сочи зарплаты выше чем в большинстве городов Западной Европы. Информация проверяется щелчком пальца, заходим на сайты поиска работы либо смотрим статистику высоких зарплат.
