It's acceptable that weapons will be destroyed or captured simply because they can be, this is a fact of war and I am sure those sending weapons are well aware of that and won't stop them from sending more, if anything, it will just make them more careful. I was never a fan of announcing the type of weapon systems being sent anyway, media statements should just say "weapon systems have been sent", let the Russians find out the hard way what these systems are, we should not be helping them in this respect.

Just like the release of the video of the use of thier hypersonic missiles, the video showed a farm in eastern Ukraine being destroyed, this destruction happened at the start of the invasion and the best part of 2 weeks before the alleged hypersonic weapons launch. I also note that there is no evidence on any satellite photos of any impact creator that a hypersonic missile would create. In other words, how to you tell if a Russian is a liar? Russia is missing an important point in Slovakia sending equipment. It should be clear to Putin that the former Warsaw Pact countries and Balkin States, with the exception of Belarus, are no longer interested in being intimidated or bullied by the Muskovy anymore. The neutral countries have had their eyes opened at least and are now looking to seek protective alliances with the west as well. Ukraine is not only costly for Russia in terms of lost blood, treasure, and diplomacy, but it has shocked former friends, neighbors, and allies further to the west to the point they are volunteering their equipment to fight against the Putin war machine.

Yes the Germans thought the Battle of Britain would be over in a week or two. They outnumbered the RAF by more than two to one. Didn't go so well for them. All you have to do is bleed the enemy until their losses are no longer militarily and politically sustainable. Go Ukraine!!!!! Hang in there and make them pay. The rest of us should be giving them whatever they need as fast as we can.

Well, I would really like to put this story out as an appropriate analogy for this war. But the historical truth about Britain's "victory" is not as glorious as one might think. They got massive help from the US, that´s how they survived. The help from allied countries is the real analogy and lesson being taught in this story because Ukraine does depend on these deliveries as well in this present conflict. Britain would have ended not so well if nobody had provided this support in WWII.

@@matthiaswagner7922 Not during the Battle of Britain. Britain has secured its own supplies of 100 octane fuel. The US supplies were a bonus. BoB was fought with British aircraft, radars, pilots and equipment. It was the single most important battle of the European war. Not until later did US supplies make an impact.

@@matthiaswagner7922 Why are you jumping from the Battle of Britain (10th July 1940 - 31st October 1940, the point made above) to the whole of WWII ? WWII fully started on 3rd September 1939 USA joined on 7th December 1941 due to attack from Japan. Yes Britain did buy a huge amount of equipment from the USA during the war, some cash, some Lend Lease.

The battle of Britain's outcome was not only due to the heroic performance of British aviators, but aided by the sheer incompetence of Hermann Göring who refused to take the insufficient autonomy of Luftwaffe fighters into account. As we are seeing in Ukraine, heroic defence on one side, and logistic incompetence on the other side.

Russian troops are trudging through the Ukrainian wilderness at night. Suddenly they hear someone yelling from a nearby hilltop "A Ukrainian soldier beats any Russian soldier any time!". A Russian soldier volunteers to prove otherwise and runs up the hill, but soon falls to a sniper bullet . The voice yells "Ha! One Ukrainian soldier is better than any two Russian soldiers!". The Russians take cover and an officer sends two scouts around the hill to flank the sniper. After a moment two shots are heard and the same voice yells "One Ukrainian soldier is better than 10 Russian soldiers!". The Russians send ten men up the hill. More shooting and a grenade explosion later no one comes back and they hear "One Ukrainian soldier is better than a whole platoon of Russian soldiers!". So the Russians send a whole platoon. After several minutes of gunfire grenade explosions a wounded Russian crawls back to the rest of the troops, grabs an officer by the shirt and says "It was a TRAP! There are TWO of them!"
