Inherited two of those Stillson wrenches from my late father. They've seen better days but still work perfectly. Loved the work you did on that Crescent. Looks lovely, mate. Cheers.

D'ye know, I have a bucket of rusties just like that and it has a pair of sheep shears too. I wonder if they just spontaneously generate in the presence of enough rust? Cheers mate, I enjoy everything you put your hand to. Thanks for the fun and inspiration.

When you sandblasted the parts I said to myself "it was probably painted red" and then you painted it red and I was so pleased, it's like that tool should be a glossy red finish

Very well done!! I always have the same dilemma whenever I restore an old tool. Do I: 1) Use it and enjoy it. Or 2) Stare at it forever because it turned out so beautifully.

@TheSmallWorkshop

Sandblasting abrasive is very expensive, around 100 bucks for a small bag. By cleaning the loose rust I try to keep the abrasive clean for a longer time. Also it reduces the fine dust in the cabin, so I can see better and film a clearer picture.

Nope, they are fine, some pipe wrenches are designed like that, you can see on google images. I guess it has something to do with the way they grab the round pipe.
