Oh, man, you did it again... You've overtaken me in organizing.. I'm working on it from the last summer and I'm not done yet. Today I'm finishing some masonry in my shed, where I've removed the old chicken coop and converted the space in a hut for my compressor, so it won't be all wet even if it's made to be outside.. (the trailer diesel version) Then I'll try to complete my sanding room asap, so i'll be able to get forward and free some space in the house.. You know, when you live alone, stuff piles up.. and for some strange reason there is no urge to organize and clean.. When things get overcrowded by stuff, then it's time to do something about it... shaving some greenery in the garden included. =) Nice work.

Sorting the work place is always a good thing. Things you dont need for a particular job have to go. I suggest to mount the electric lines 1-1/2 feet over the floor. On a flood or similar you`re safe, w. water proof socket cases. When you`re interested to recondition the garage floor have an eye in your next IKEA store. Here in Europe they using a swedish sealing system that lasts - guaranteed - for ten years! Slip- and fire-proof too. Bahind the work bench(es) i suggest treadplate patterned sheet. Check for proper sealed installations behind.

Hello, CT, that's the way to go.👍 A tidy garage makes working much easier. I also don't like working in chaos. You just waste too much time looking for the right tool. When everything is in its place, the work is much more relaxed. What now concerns the additional space..... I wouldn't want to cast a concrete slab here. Rather I would lay grass stones and possibly put a flexible carport over it if necessary (as well as the Duckman). So you would have an additional parking space and if you don't need it, a nice lawn. But everyone can do it the way he wants. I am curious how it goes on. I wish good success. Greetings from Germany

I’d build In there if I was you and make that part of the garage so you have more shop space to work. Store your vehicles that you are working on while you do all the small mechanical stuff in the far right corner and then to the left you can have your mechanical area or you can strip down your things and work on them

I figured it out when you’re a mechanic that you need plenty of space because sometimes the projects can spread out I have been learning that myself and I plan on making a little addition on my shop the store of the projects that I am not working on at the current moment because right now a lot of them are sitting outside in my backyard and I don’t like to have stuff out in the weather like that that I plan on fixing up because I worry about it getting ruined.

I don´t know why you not have a trailer where you put your parts in? You have the place near the garage and in America you get some good trailer for this. This kind of trailer you not get in Germany and you can put the car in it ,if you clean this from the parts or the car is done.

So you have a VERY ambitious deadline for getting this bus on the road....is it realistic? Given your other commitments, I have my doubts. I’d start by having a good look at what’s not so bad....like the area where the fuel tank lives. Clean that up and get the tank in there, it needs to go in before the gearbox and engine anyway.The straps look like they can be re used for now. You have a lot of welding to do, so be sure to protect your glass.... I mean it, it’s important!
