Today lets add some flow to your improvisation!!! Learning these simple concepts will help make you a better lead guitar player. If you want to become a good guitar player, learn this pentatonic solo idea. I will demo and breakdown these solo ideas that will flow through the E minor pentatonic scale positions. I struggled a long time with this. This is a simple, but effective way to improvise up and down the fretboard with the E minor pentatonic scale. We sometimes make it more complicated than it is. You will gain confidence in your improvising with these lead guitar solo ideas. Happy jamming everyone! Let me know if this lesson was helpful.

Thanks Rusty, I’ve been stuck in mediocrity for so many years, I’d almost given up. At 64 years old I thought I’d reached my limit, with Arthur becoming more of a reality, despite my telling myself I was tough. You inspire me, I can see and understand your lessons. Thank you sir!

@rustysguitar1

The best way to sound connected when improvising is to resolve on a note of the upcoming chord. Not an easy task, but that’s part of what I was showing you in this lesson. Take some time with us.
