jerry max lane and i recently visited ruthie and hubby kent and i had no idea she sang either but ... she mentioned this record and cant believe i found it on here thanks wilbur its great just as she is .... great lady and we love kent perkins her hubby too they've been good friend's of my husbands for 35 years or more .... enjoyed ruthie s song ...jeannie

I didn't know Ruth Buzzi had a backgropund in singing but outside her comedic reputation she certainly had another side of her talent she rarely shows and this song is the proof of that and she did a incredible. Actually saw her on youtube from ther Dean Martin Roast she was hysterical in that especially the one she really wacked Ali with her purse.

I remember her plugging this one on "Dinah!" back in the day, and I think I saw her do it on another talk and/or variety show or two. Didn't it chart low on the Billboard C &W chart? Good record--thanks for sharing!
