Well done USA army for scoring those three tries. Considering how little they play rugby compared with the Brits, it was an amazing achievement. I'm a Brit but I always liketo see U.S. teams doing well. They have a panache about their style and are very speedy. Hope that rugby really takes off in all branches of the U.S. military and of course nationally too.

These US boys probably started playing at the same time as the Brits tbf. It's far from the most popular sport but it has a decent amount of players. 1.2million registered players. Around the same amount that play in England.

@@RhysWilliams-u3o : But the population of the U.S.A. is 333 million, almost 5 times the population of Britain (67 million). So for an equivalence you'd need there to be about 6 million rugby players in the larger country.

@@RhysWilliams-u3o not sure where you get your registration numbers from in the US? It is actually around 125K (USA Rugby Registration Numbers) across a country that would take up most of Europe. 1.2M is most likely the fan base. Most of these players picked up rugby at the age of 21, after football was over. We will be back and are excited to play in the UK again.
