My Cougar 323mks has been in storage for about fives years. What should I do before using it? I am watching all of your videos & enjoying them. Many long forgotten things are coming back to mind. Thank You. We love our Cougar!

This is the second time this question is being asked today...maybe we need to do a video on it but let me copy and paste my last answer
@therealjr91755 жыл бұрын
Copy and paste answer the more I read the questions here I think we need to do another Q&A video and this would be a great question for it. So to try and answer your question Check all water lines and make sure we have no leaks Have a service department do a pressure leak test to confirm there are no bad seals We have a state inspection in PA that checks breaks, tires, lights ect. A safety check. Toss in checking wheel bearings If a camper shop offers a Pre Delivery Inspection try that too. It is done to every new unit and is a good way to give the whole coach a once over Biggest and most importantly. Take a short trip first. 3-5 days locally. Set an appointment with your service department for the day you would come back from this and take a full legal notepad with. This will let you take notes of any issues you may have or notes on what you may need explained on how it works or how to work it.

Would love to see a video on how to properly set up a weight distribution hitch (the ones with chains) and when to use the anti-sway bar with them.
@therealjr91755 жыл бұрын
We have one on how to hitch up an equalizer E4 system but as far as installing one I can honestly say we will not being doing one for multiple reasons. 1. Way too many brands out there. 2. The brand we recommend is equalizer and they already have a great video online for customer who want to tackle that on there own 3. We recommend paying professionals for this. Between the warranty of the hitch and the trailer we say let the guys that do this for a living do it. One time investment for a lifetime setup (or until we change truck and trailer combinations). Buy once cry once but know its done correctly and safely

Been watching your videos for some time. Remember one was tow/cargo weights and you did your white board. Swear that was longer that a couple months ago as video says but I learned a lot in the last yr or so and getting closer to pulling the trigger. Hey at least have the F350 diesel part done. I remember being impressed that you really didn’t want someone pulling out of there over weight and unsafe. I know that happens everyday. My biggest concern now is getting to know the (me a 5th wheel) ( new rv owner too) 5th wheel and that everything works properly. I keep seeing people with so much stuff not working. I’m like didn’t they go over everything or hurry through it. I have to say was impressed withy a couple dealers that actually have a campground area and you stay and get comfortable and also they check with you next day to see if everything is working properly before you ever leave lot. I’m like I want to do that! All three of those that I have found are a 8 or more hr drive. I’m in No. Va. Coming to see you all soon after wea keeps getting better. ha. So my big question is ORIENTATION. Seems dealers PDI is not always that great. Could be a video idea. What to expect picking up Rv at Keystone RV center. A quick walk around . A good 2 or 3 hrs to make sure everything is working. Hell can you stay in it overnight, maybe a place close by and be able to come back next day if needed. Thats my question.....Thanks guys...Look forward to meeting you.

I just watched how to "proper RV toilet operation" and now chemicals. Never in a million years did I ever think I'd be watching these types of videos. As we just purchased our new RV from Keystone and are RV newbies, these videos have been super helpful. I would like to see more dog lizard references though. LOL.

follow our Instagram we talk about him on there a bit and we will have more dog lizard videos to come soon. Maybe we do a "campning with your dog lizard video" MARK! Video idea

JR... my black tank and grey tank sensors doesn't seem to work, even when I fill them up they still mark as empty. I have flush them again and again with no results, any suggestions on what the problem might be?
@therealjr91755 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a sensor issue. Could be bad ground or harness or control panel. Hope for ground and hope its easy to get to
