THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! My wife and I have looked at RV's for a year and a half, trying to find one that met our needs. Never found one that suited us. Finally, at wits end, we decided on just getting a Prevost. Not what we wanted, but frankly, just to dang tired of looking any further. I literally stumbled upon your channel, literally. Thank GOD our Father that I did. I learned about FMCA, which answered so many, many questions we were asking. Then of all things, I saw something that blew my mind...the most beautiful coach I had ever seen on one of the listings on you channel. A 2021 CornerStone Entegra, 45W. Cummins power, Allison Transmission, Led Lighting, and Etc, Etc... My wife and I had so many, many questions answered on your channel. As a supervisor, I teach safety to my fellow workers, you watch me, I watch you. At the end of the day, we all go home. This coach offers us "the" safety we were looking for. Never think you do not make a difference in people's lives. You have this night for my wife and I. We have found our coach (will have it made), go and get it, and will willingly be looking forward to the next FMCA rally to get "ALL" the info we need to motor safely. As you go through your day, the Devil oft times wants us to wonder do we really make a difference? In our lives you have. Because of you (And The Risen Messiah), our dreams will come true. Looking forward to seeing you on the Road...YOUNGSTERS.... Well done! Scottishxpride, Tx. P.S. We hit that subscribe button.

Hey guys,.......thanks for the wonderful comment! Sue & I are humbled everytime we hear that we actually helped someone. That makes the work so much more worthwhile for us. You bought a truly AWESOME rig! You will have all the power you need, and will have the new-ish steering control system that Entegra now includes. We also are patiently waiting to see how the Covid issue will settle down, because we are itching to go to another FMCA Rally. We took a pass on going to the Florida RV Show, which was such a treat for us in 2020. Texas is so big you can just drive around in it for the first 6 months, so you are all set. Keep an eye peeled for us on the road,........we are the one in the old 2014 Dutch Star "jalopy"!

Our pleasure! Angie is the nicest person you can meet in person,.....and knows Motorhomes like few others do. Remember what I have come to know with all my heart, the most expensive motorhome is the one you bought from the wrong dealer. Motorhomes need a ton of TLC throughout the life of owning it. You need to have a great dealer to help you with all the issues that will arise during that journey.

@@OurJourneyInMyles Very wise words, sensei! It is very easy to buy a rig that you get pissed off at because you didn't know that it does or doesn't do something; or that it has a component sealed with cream cheese vice sealant. @OurJourneyInMyles 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Bite the bullet on the Rettrobands. We went with Lifeline AGM batteries in June of 2017. If I was doing it now, I would cut to the chase and go to Lithium. This would lower my drivers side FRONT tire load substantially, which is the highest one on my rig. You need LESS batteries, and they are LESS weight per battery!

Interestingly enough, that on the new newmars, the comfort drive control is buried in menus as there is no physical button anymore. I mentioned this to a salesman and he said that most people set it and forget it. Having not owned one I really could not argue but thought this would step backwards in design. Spartan after more than a decade has finally come up with a version of comfort drive, but as far as I know, it is only available on there most expensive MH chassis. Happy trails

I can see how they would be tempted. I could just set it at 4.5 out of 6 and be good "most" of the time. The beauty of the knob was to instantly make the motorhome a go cart when you pull into a Campground. I DO NOT like fiddling thru screens and a menu to manually adjust something. I like to be able to tighten up the steering as needed on the fly. They should have asked me first!

As we start the thought process of transitioning from a sail catamaran to a Class A, the nerd in me gravitates to many maintanence videos as opposed to the shining bobbles in most videos. Salt water cruising is not for the faint of heart(or pocketbook). But the preventative maintenance is critical to take care of things on your own terms. Saw the driver chairs sitting on the garage floor right off. What was up with that? Another great video! SV No More Mondays

Hey David,....welcome aboard. The chairs came out of the rig next to us in the repair bays. Mark, how much does the patented desk drawer dampening mechanism cost? What drawers will it work on. Have you considered using the door dampening mechanism as a refuse receptacle or would that violate your patent? Of course, you are the engineer and I am just a lawyer, so what would I know. Great video, as usual.

It has worked out to be a great stretching device for me because I have to step very high over it 20 times per trip. But I am hesitant to go for a mixed use patent because it is somewhat dangerous,....I have fallen over it on many occasions. Never thought about the refuse device "dual use" angle. I would worry about residue soil maybe?

Excellent video. I love how you do these maintenance videos with a mindset of, “What would prospective customers want to see and know in order for them to decide whether or not they would want to do business” at a given place. You make it seem just like being there! National Indoor looks to be a great place. Question for you if you don’t mind... I am needing a roof reseal, and am not feeling ambitious enough to tackle this round myself. So, of course I was curious to see about pricing for such a job. I notice those lines were all zeros on your invoice, I assume that is an “included” part of your purchase that covers you for a certain time period. Do you have any idea what the roof reseal would cost a person if paying “full rate”? Thank you, and safe travels.
@wes2975
@wes2975 4 жыл бұрын
I see now in the description that you did not initially purchase your RV from NIRVC. So, I know there is “some reason” that the roof reseal lines show $0, perhaps the cost is listed somewhere on there and I simply overlooked it.
@OurJourneyInMyles
@OurJourneyInMyles 4 жыл бұрын
We bought this MH used from a private person. All work was paid for. The "labor" for the reseal was item #4 for $1065 and ended up being 7.15 hours. At the end of the bill was about $150 is "supplies". ( about $149/hour) I am 67 years old, and would have issues working on the roof safely for the HOURS it would take to keep it in good shape. I had the roof pressure washed before the work was done. I had 9" wide tape seals replaced at the cap and body connections. Last week here in our resort, a guy fell of his ladder and luckily only broke his shoulder. I do not want to end my retirement with something like that. My bones have tested "osteopenia". I feel I need to have someone look at, and "dress up" the caulk on my roof about twice a year. It averages about $350 each time. This reseal was REQUESTED by me to be extremely thorough because I really trust this outfit,........and few others.
@wes2975
@wes2975 4 жыл бұрын
Very good info, much appreciated, thank you. I do now see the line item for the roof reseal. I agree that doing that kind of work is not for everyone, in terms of the height, duration, etc. Using a scissor lift is for sure the way to go. I hope your health will allow for many years of enjoyable travels, and you definitely are making smart decisions in terms of what you can/should do (or not do). Thanks again, take care.

I saw a few good examples of folks doing it on KZbin so I knew what was involved, and felt comfortable with the number of hours I was charged. I was very happy NIRVC could do this for me while I was in there shop so I didn't have to go to a Freightliner Shop,......which normally does not go well for me. Its takes about 5 minutes. Now the one you showed on your video was a Professional scanner which cost more but now at Harbor Freight for $1000.00

The "real" last page to display would have shown the final Georgia tax, any environment disposal fees, and last minute shop supplies. I manually entered the Rettroband costs because I bought them during the a FMCA Rally discount special,......that is given at limited times only.
