@@Rejoicewithsinging I’m so happy to hear that! For what it’s worth, it seemed like everything went wrong for me this January. I had to push back my trip three weeks after getting sick, then blowing two tires, which damaged my airstream and I had to take it to the shop to get repaired. On the way back from picking it up, I hit a pole and put a big ole dent on the side. I thought the universe was telling me this whole trip was a bad idea, but I’m glad I didn’t get stuck on that thought and I wouldn’t trade these past few months on the road for anything. 💕

makes no difference to show license plates or tags in videos. It's in public view in public eyes for 100's of people to see everyday. There is no scam or hack going around where someone can take that information and do anything of value with it. LOVE this! I am getting ready to sell my house in 2 weeks and I am trying to figure out how to make vanlife vs RVlife work. I am an ER nurse and I have 2 cats (they are my first priority) so I need to be able to keep them safe and warm or cool, depending on the season, while I would be at work. I am so envious of people who are living’ the dream have so much freedom!

What is the average temps where you live during the summer?
@iheartcolorado93113 жыл бұрын
@@TravisTravels I currently live in Minnesota, so it’s very cold in the winter and VERY hot and humid in the summer. My plan is to travel though, I don’t want to stay in MN. I will probably do travel nursing. There is just no way that I would leave my cats in a van without heat or or air, nobody should leave an animal in a hot or cold vehicle. A van just gives a lot more freedom, but an RV may be more sensible for me. Love your content!
@TravisTravels3 жыл бұрын
@@iheartcolorado9311 Thank you so much. I know a few traveling nurses doing vanlife. I think you have consider accessibility too. I don't know about hospitals and parking for employees but I'm willing to bet they aren't ok with RV's in the parking lot. But a van they are. Every person I've met on the road is always conscious about leaving their pets in the vehicle. The cold isn't as much a factor as the heat. As your vehicle should be insulated. And a heater that's ideal for any situation is a diesel heater. Have a maxxair fan on the roof to circulate the air. That'll drop the inside temp by 10 to 15 degrees depending on where you are. Also get a pet camera, so you can monitor the temps inside the vehicle as well as check in on your pets when you want on your phone. A/C is out of the question. But I know of a new swamp cooler that can run off 200 watts of solar.
