My wife and I were scheduled for an event west of Columbus so, based on your video we decided to make a long weekend of it and visit the Air Force Museum in the Wright Brothers Museum. THANK YOU for posting this video. We were very impressed and enjoyed the John W. Berry, Sr. Wright Brothers National Museum and the whole Carillon Park facility. To anyone reading this comment, if you are into inventions and the people behind them, then this should be at the top of your list. We were very surprised with Carillon Park and the whole group of Dayton-famous contributions to America. And if you are an aviation enthusiast then you'll really enjoy the Wright Brothers National Museum. One of the guides was very informed and helpful. The Wright Flyer display is somewhat of a spiritual experience. The room is very quiet, air controlled and darkened by keeping the sunlight out to protect the materials on the airplane. According to the guide, the plane is 87% original. As mentioned, no sunlight allowed into the room to help preserve the original materials.

I was actually involved in putting up all of the speakers and sound systems at Point Pleasant WV for those murals along the river. There are actually audio tracks you can listen to that are all narrated for tours they do of the wall and each mural tells a story. They were painted and put in about 8-10 years ago. We edited all of the audio tracks for them. & I actually live in Charleston, WV! Great Video!

The self-starter is simply key-turn ignition. Car engines used to be cranked by hand to get them started and it was very dangerous. Charles Kettering invented turning a key to start the ignition

I’m really enjoying your road trip so much! I grew up not too far from W VA and my cousins lived just across the river from there in Ashland, KY! You’ve shown so many wonderful areas! I’ve lived almost all of my adult life in OH, so I really enjoyed your video of W. Carrollton, Dayton, and the WPAFB Museum. Those were all places very near us and where we took our children as they grew up.

Another good one. Ohio is on my bucket list. So green there. I got my wish out west on the central coast - glorious sunshine and blue skies. Went mountain biking in nearby hills and the vernal ponds are 95 percent full!!! So happy to see them full again. Frog choruses everywhere. Ducks are happy too. More rain is coming but I predict another huge wildflower bloom this year. Cheers. 👍
