I like how even though the gorillas could easily kill any creature they disagree with or feel threatened by, they choose not to, instead the usually act honorably by physically testing or challenging the person and once you give dominance to him, they usually respect you enough to leave you be. Something special about a species that can hold back its power and come to an understanding without needing to kill.

I love how you said that 🙏🙏💯💯

Yeah, that’s actually pretty strange. Cows, elephants, or other big plant eaters will try to kill you when they feel threatened/annoyed/scared. Why not the gorilla? They let humans touch their babies. If the humans wanted to, they could kill/harm the babies, but they let them do it. And the gorillas let any human do that, not just humans they are accustomed to. Kind of strange to me, why is that? It seems not rationale. Since the human is actually a big... or even the biggest threat for the gorilla.
@Lordani663 жыл бұрын
Isn't it? When I didn't know better I thought gorillas have to be most aggressive, deadly and dangerous animals in the world. Today I know that I would rather meet a group of gorillas in the wild than elephants, wild dogs, hippos, chimps, even wild horses.
@jadezee63163 жыл бұрын
@@swlk9996 they DO NOT let humans touch their babies..in fact you had better not try to reach out to a baby gorilla because that is the number one thing that a Silverback will never allow.....and death is a certainty for any human that harms a baby......now there are a few times when a youngster...NOT a baby because babies are not left alone to wonder about....will go up and touch a human...but you will not find a single video on here with humans touching wild baby gorillas...for obvious reasons

@_aaaa The mountain gorillas are wild but habituated, meaning they’ve been around people enough to not be frightened.

I’m always amazed at the size of the gorillas’ guts....I know _why_ they’re so large, but when I haven’t seen videos of them for awhile I forget! Then I think, dang! Are they all pregnant? rofl! Nope! Just lots and lots of roughage to digest!

It’s crazy about their body shape from the side. How the frame looks like it’s about to collapse under the weight of their massive body. If they were any bigger it looks like their backs would snap in half

the faces of gorillas is exactly what people describe they see during sasquatch encounters and sitings esepcially hundreds of years ago. sasquatch is not mythical, it just similar to yetis..instead of dwelling in himilayas or mountains or low lands of africa..it dwells in forests in north america...a tall forest gorilla

@@adrunkgorillawithalobotomy353 There's usually a rite to succession with the two. They tussle and whoever wins stays. Until the alpha becomes old and his second exiles him. At least that's what the documentary said

At the moment the silverback is close but still relatively calm, the pollen makes you crack a gargantuan sneeze. Then... all hell break loose.

sasquatch and yetis are not mythical creatures, no more super weird looking orange colored flabby faced orangutan gorillas. hundreds of years ago in himilayas and pacific northwest of america, people knew about them and saw them also. sasquatch is a extra huge and tall forest gorilla, orangutan is a extra long armed flabby faced gorilla and yeti is another very tall snow dwelling gorilla...they all been around for thousands of years...no mystery at all
