Considering that Raven was the one who gave em a portal to Qrow, i'd imagine that as soon as they get back to Remnant, Raven opens up a portal to Yang and hugs her, thinking that she was no longer alive. She probably felt the portal re-connect with her semblance since she returned. And lead up to that.

I honestly would love this as volume 10's first episode. Qrow being positive and supportive really suits him way more then being all doom and gloom. Also where he had to catch himself after seeing Ruby's message memorial was powerfull. I can't wait till this gets animated and Qrow being over the moon learning that Ruby, Yang and everyone is stil alive.

They said it would be part of Episode 1 with some tweaks right before showing it. It's a V7E1 situation basically, they had an idea for the finale but now it's going to be the opener for the next season instead.

@@ShirouBrando No but from the panel they seem pretty damn confident that their making it and have started pre-production I imagine their talking budgets and shit behind the scenes before the final go ahead can be given (plus they mentioned talking to "new partners" which was very vauge but I think it's probably them talking to other animation studios to help out since rebuilding and training all the employees they'd need for RT animation to do a full season by itself would take quite a while and be a huge investment)

Thankyou for posting this. Not all of the fans of RWBY live in America so many of us can't afford the international flights and cost of accommodation or the time off work to got to RTX. I hope this is the beginning of the first episode of Volume10. It would definitely be an emotional rollercoaster to start Volume10 like this. I really want a fully colored version, so we can truly see what Vacuo looks like.

They mentioned that they have started the writing process for Volume 10 so odds are good that it will be greenlit however they also mentioned that Red vs Blue would be brought back for one final season so it could be awhile before we get any news on RWBY.

Lmao no not even close. She has a lot of work to do before she can be considered a good mom. As of this moment she is still a deadbeat who abandoned her kid and family to go be a bandit leader. She also let her daughter shoulder the responsibility of the relic instead of being a parent and taking that on instead. Not saying she isn't redeemable, but she has a lot of work ahead of her.

Suddenly? You mean why did she rescue her only daughter that she has a connection with via her semblence? She obviously felt her return. Raven may have abandoned Yang but she does still love her (and Qrow). If she felt that connection disappear and reappear, she would go check it out.

And for how long has it been, when Ruby asked The Blacksmith where would the portal take them it said "not were, but *when* you are needed the most" So maybe, even if in the Everafter they spended like, I don't know, 3 or 4 days, they'll probably be a bit in the future. At least one month or a bit more.

To be honest, I'd prefer that they left this for V10, because it leaves it open to be a lot more than just the edge of an episode. There was a lot to cover at the end of V9, and honestly some more time on that would be more worth it than the jump to Vacuo.

all of vol 9 was the biggest mistake so far. vol 9 was utterly pointless and did zero to advance the plot or characters. there wasnt even any good character interaction in vol 9. or any kindve credible buildup for bumblebee whatsoever. its like they just wanted to add lesbians to the show for the sake of having lesbians. when both characters have been undeniably straight since season 1.

@@kidkaden5139 Because then you at least have an interesting dynamic that you can't wave away. You can say that you still have that dynamic it would mostly be surface less without the actual physical consequences for it. Jaune is basically a 40 yrs old guy in the body of 18 yrs old but I very much doubt they are going to mention or ever bring it up again if there isn't a direct tie to it. The streak in his hair can literally just be explained away as stress (its an actual phenomenon) and so it can be effectively waved away and never brought up in any meaningful way again. Having Jaune walk around as a 40 yrs old, basically closer in age to Qrow and Winter than to his own friends, has an actual effect on the story around the characters. Does he still try to reconnect with his old team? Do those 30 odd yrs alone give him new skills/experiences/perspective that he wants to but can't share with his old team? Does the now older age give him a more loner streak that his team try to overcome? Can they overcome it? I agree that Jaune didnt' grow much during those 30 odd yrs but not growing as person doesn't mean those yrs don't mean anything and can just be forgotten.

@@MariusweeddeathYou know how many loose plot lines they have to tie up. The series is literally going to end in a couple years, no need to add new stuff that you know won’t be covered. Remember how Vol 9 past couple episodes where rushed as hell even though they were in a removed situation with a very limited set of character. Vol 10 will be in a similar situation, so Jaune isn’t going to be a much of a main factor unless his core plots will be wrapped up in that volume.

CRWBY opened that Pandora's box that is Bumblebee because they wanted please the toxic minority of fans who demanded it. Thinking it would score progressive points and lead to more likes, subs, and merch sales. (It didn't). Now they could not shut it down or even cool it in the slightest way even if they wanted to out of fear of being canceled. They learned a hard lesson about that when they killed off Clover after ship teasing him with Qrow for nearly an entire volume. Heh, but it is OK to cool Renora obviously. Doesn't matter how strongly it was based or documented. (Straight ships are not resilient in this show and usually end badly. That's just the way it is.)

@@jorgezaldivar3113 As for a V10 green light... It has nothing to do with Bumblebee. (Well, not directly.) It has everything to do with money. As in RT/CRWBY are hard up for it right now. Dealing with falling profits, lost subs, a buy out, bad reputation for employment, the loss of most staff from contracts expiring, to some quiting (including VA's) due to toxic work conditions. Even if they mamage to get financed, they will need to hire a new crew of staff, animators, VAs and so far to get going again. If there will be a V10, I suspect it will be another couple years before it comes out. And this is assuming RT doesn't fold by then.
