To be able to mark those types of lines, it is convenient to get the magnets that come inside the weatherstripping of the refrigerator doors !!! You always make sure it is long and you can modify the curve by looking at it and making the most correct shape that seems to you. This is my humble advice !!! Thank you so much !!!

big fan of the move with the trailer fender usage as your new fender lining - that shit alone got me hooked on this. instead of the cutting up/fold/weld that you see every other thing done. Keep up the work bro - this is awesome.

I’d say next to the tail light make a vent with some bendy vacuum piping going straight to the rad to suck air through and make a second vent under that that ties the wide fender into the rear bar to suck out pressure in the rear wheel well?

Using some 1/2” or inch tube would give you a radius where the panels meet, it can be bent in compound curves to get the S curves you mentioned Great video... subbed.
@Mardy724 жыл бұрын
I just watched and was about to make the same suggestion. Custom car builders and hot rodders have been using that technique since forever. You can even build the basic frame out of tube, get the lines and shapes close to perfect first and then skin it with sheet. Makes it so much easier, gives it better rigidity and a nice radius to the joins 👍

the best way to try to do something like this is by using cardbord and tejp first and then when you are happy with the look you use the cardbord to cut it out what you need in plate. saves alot of hassle.

I would just have like 8 huge posters of an Audi s4 Quattro the groub B one that walter rohl drove up pikes peak that one whatever audi that is i would have 10 huge posters from diffrent angles and just try and copy what you like feom that i get those are probably fiberglass but just being able to have something to look at and gain inspiration from would help a lot with all the back and forth nonsense kudos for doing this and im sure your learning but this is painful to watch just stare at some posters that you like and do your best to copy something would have been way easier being that this is your first foyer making huge flares. Now you guys should call your selves ECS Body Shop & Tuning ! ;)

ECS Tuning one of the things I love about your videos is we get to see the full creative process as well as 'mistakes' made along the way as you move towards your final vision. A lot of content out there is heavily edited to only show finished or nearlly finished fabrication. I enjoy the longer videos with you discussing ideas amongst your peers and then the execution. Awesome content 👍

Stumbled across the channel. I build a ton of wide-bodies. Check my channel out. I'm a real steel guy as well. I do make fiberglass kits as well. But, of course prefer my steel. Do you own a english wheel, and bead roller? If so you really should make your own wheel arch. It's not hard. Draw it out, and run it on the bead roller to get the arch. Then use the english wheel to roll out the panel. A long reach shrinker couldn't hurt as well. Best of luck. Looks like your struggling. Hope that helps you go in a better direction instead of compromising with what you have.
